the Iraq war and terrorism ?
I think so .
I've noticed some Democratic Politicians have backed away from their hardline stance on withdrawal, and I think I've noticed less Y/A users taking that stance as well .
Oh, the 'abandon ship' lobby is still out there and very vocal, but it seems to have decreased some .

What do you think ?

If personnel in the armed forces in any country, but especially the US and British armed forces - being as our both our nations seem to be involved everywhere - were to be trained in the foreign languages in the countries they operated in - could this not possibly change the outcome of the conflicts in those countries ?

Isn't there a chance if you were actually communicating in the same language, even if, to put it bluntly, you are only slinging insults at each other - that somewhere along the line you might find a way to do more than just fight and kill each other ?

Doesn't conflict a lot the time come from frustration because of confusion?

In essense I might know if someone is angry with me, because of their facial expression - and they're shouting at me at the top of their voice and jesticulating wildly - but wouldn't it be better to actually know WHY THEY'RE ANGRY WITH ME or for them to know why I AM ANGRY WITH THEM ?????

Why are we arguing over this? There is no issue. The people in America who are here illegally are that--illegal. Why do they have the same rights that Americans do when they didn't apply for citizenship the legal way? If they are going to be proud Americans, shouldn't they respect the law first before they demand American rights? Could someone explain why there is an issue (I understand that people are debating over guest-worker program, path to citizenship, walls, etc.)

why do people think the -illegal- immigrants have American rights?

Does the report brought to focus the failure of Indian `secular politics' in helping the Muslims to develop educaitonally and economically ? It also exposed the Marxists concern to Muslims only intended to vote bank politics, as the report established in three decades of CPM rule, the percentage of Muslims in government service was brought down to one third in West Bengal.
