The hippie/babyboomer generation claims to be the generation of change, what have they done?

They couldn't even legalize pot & it seems to me that all of our other laws are stricter now than they were in the 60's. What exactly is it that these revolutionaries have accomplished? They were worried about "big brother" now they are "big brother".

The answer is: We the baby boomers were brave enough to stand up and fight for what is right. Now, we are at the age that we still want change, but not out there protesting. You would think that it wouldn't be left for us to do. There are millions of people out there and nothing is organized to do the protesting like in the 60's. It would be nice to see that other generations care about their rights, but I guess they don't or we would see more protesting. It's a down right shame. We have lived at least half of our lives and the younger generations are just going to have to live with what they have unless, you get some ___s and fight for your rights!

Really well then I can tell your not a black person, In the 60's when we marched for civil rights I thought I was doing the "right" thing, when we marched against the VietNam war we thought we were doing the "right" thing and when we burned our bra's to bring real change for our daughter's sakes we thought we were doing the "right" thing. You just wanted someone to blame cause you cant light up your blunt just anywhere you want to-well remember that that blunt would have gotten you 20 years back then so maybe we did bring some changes that were good.

All Hippies did was win and cry. They turned against our troops in Vietnam and cost us the war. Hippies where doped up and worthless civilians that have destroyed this countries moral fiber. Thanks cowards.
