So if some impoverished ignorant goatherd from some back-water village in Egypt waves an "I hate USA" sign because some crazy imam told him to, we should, what, nuke 'em all? That's a bit simplistic, don't you think?
"Wanting" and "wishing" aren't the same as "pose a threat to" and "have the capabilities to." People can wish us harm all the live-long day, but unless a country is actually attacking, then there is no justification to squash them like bugs. We start doing that, and we start looking as crazy as they do, only worse, because we do have the capability to inflict great harm. How long do you think that is going to fly?
You say "I could not care less why any other country or people don't like us." Well that's certainly keeping your head in the sand. If you don't understand your enemies motivations, how can you effectively fight them? Doesn't it make sense to try to understand the other side's grievances, in order to try to mitigate the situation, and avoid an expensive conflict with loss of life altogether?

There is no such thing as an enemy to your country... you people have a warped idea of patriotism.... People may be an enemy to your politicians beliefs... and if you think with your own brain, not with the biased government advertisements that they call the news these days... you may also see some flaws in your 'own country's' policies... and may try to move towards a better, more understanding and PEACEFUL world.... rather than trying to 'deal with enemies quickly in the hashest means possible' by the way, the statement 'harshest means possible' makes no sense... maybe you should spend more time learning correct grammar then listening to idiot politicians who cannot speak correctly to save themselves....

Agreed. There is no logical reason, to me at least, that one country would desire to obliviate another country. I think Ahamenijad, if that's how his name is spelled, should either get some psychological help or get out of office.

ashletina - the Islamic extremists teach their children from the moment they are born to hate America, not to hate American politics. They hate this country because they are jealous of the way we live.

I would have to agree. There are even those who wish us to lose in Iraq simply to say "I told you so", and to me thats truly un-American, to want your country to lose

Yeah, but it is not legal to do that to conservative Christians, no matter how much they hate the Constitution and America.
