from the USA in a few years. I am in college but once I get financially stable and a little more mature I would love to live overseas for a year or who knows maybe the rest of my life. My question is what all would I have to do to legally live there? I heard they won't allow me unless I marry someone over there. I also heard I would need a visa which would take several years to get. I'm confused lol...thank you so much!! Happy Holidays

If ou can get a job over seas, then you can get a work visa. But you have to get a work visa inorder to live over there and must keep working inorder for it to be valid. Also you can try applying for dual citizen-ship but usually that kind of thing is based on marriages orthe length of time you've already spent in that country. You'ld want to speak to the local consolate about it. The below is a document about dual citizenship by a guy who is originally from America and moved to Canada. If you find out more, let me know, I want to move to Japan!

Try studying abroad, instead. Your campus International Center or similar department can answer your questions.

I don't know. You would have to decide which country in Europe first. Good luck and Happy Holidays,
