Does anyone know if Landlords in Washington are required by law to have a deadbolt on the door lock? I asked my landlord to put one on but I think he said no. (someone showed me they could open it with a credit card)

I know she will have money and benefits, but I don't know if it's for her. She's really girly and has never even held a gun. I just don't think she would like living in tents and eating MREs.

When we moved in, there was an HOA in existence. But the rules are getting increasingly strict and annoying. For example, limiting the number of cars that you can have parked on your drive way to only 2 when 4 cars would fit with no affect twhatsoever to drive by traffic.

My question: If I decide just to ignore the rule, what is at risk? Am I just alienating my neighbors or can they call the cops and give me a ticket for having too many cars parked? Is the HOA rulebook basically the same as city ordinance or law?

The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality, than with the other citizens of the American Republic. The men who do not become Americans and nothing else are hyphenated Americans; and there ought to be no room for them in this country. The man who calls himself an American citizen and who yet shows by his actions that he is primarily the citizen of a foreign land, plays a thoroughly mischievous part in the life of our body politic. He has no place here; and the sooner he returns to the land to which he feels his real heart-allegiance, the better it will be for every good American. There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is the man who is an American and nothing else.

To anyone who listens to Michael Savage and Rush Limbaugh, who speaks more for the modern day Republican party and conservatives? Which do you prefer, and why?

(If you dislike these people, please don't answer. This isn't to make people who disagree mad. I just want people's opinions on these two radio personalities. Don't answer if you just gonna say "neither, they are both idiots". Those opinions are not helpful, and I really don't wanna read it. This question is directed towards conservatives and/or Republicans)

I mean, it's all speculation, but the possible murder of the russian spy with an extremely, extremley rare radioactive poison, dealing weapons to Iran, not to mention he is a former KGB general. I don't think this guy has changed his Communist stripes, and I don't trust him for a minute.

The new ID cards they have been suggesting we carry or do you think another solution would be better? Say, like for the future the beginning of DNA testing from birth so this way people can be identified? (Although we need a solution at present)

I turn 62 in March 2007. My official Social Security record only shows 28 quarters towards the minimum of the 40 required. These quarters include one tour with the Navy from 1964 through 1967. I worked for the CIA for a little over 5 years from 1968 through 1973 and any credit for this has just "disappeared." When I was forced to resign (I married a foreign national) I was TOLD that the money I had contributed to the CIA pension fund would be transferred to my Social Security account. This did not happen, and I am unable to get any answers. The CIA has simply ignored a formal request from the Social Security office here in the Philippines (my current address) to resolve the matter. I find it inconceviable that I could serve the US for nine years, including almost 3 years on the ground in Vietnam, and be entitled to nothing. But this is apparently how things are. What should I do?
