Because the terrorists publically endorsed the democrats, and the democrats are promising to do what terrorists want, withdraw from Iraq and the Middle East, beg everyone for forgiveness and start handing out more money, machinery, visas, and other giveaways teh American taxpayers can no longer afford.

Well, Richard is here now, huh?
S/he just left a bunch of baloney over at one of my questions.
I also don't get this. Pretty common response from the right - expecting "liberals" to allow terrorists to crawl all over America. There isn't a real good answer now that the current administration has messed up Iraq, but we either need to get out and focus our resources on our shores, or to send more troops. But to send more troops, we will need the draft, so that probably won't happen. Unfortunately, the troop levels we have on the ground now are not sufficient though.
Like what came out of Washington a few days ago: go big, or go home.

Because the liberals generally are naive about reality in issues such as war. Bush has done a terrible job with this war that is why the Republicans lost. The Islamist terrorists wish to destroy America, Israel and the whole Western world. They have said this time after time. They are vicious blood thirsty demons. The liberals do not believe it and will not until they are dead.

it's all about perception
most all liberals are out to get bush and other repubs
So, when they say the war was a total mistake-------the perception is that it was a mistake to free the iraqis from sadaam and have allowed him to still be in power murdering inocent people.-------------the real question is why did it take so long and thank you for taking action now
so, when the detainees in gitmo are recieving better treatment than they deserve but are under investigation to make sure they have the same rights as the geneva convention states for war prisoners.------------these were rogue terrorists who were not a part of a country only under a extremist version of a religion
How a convicted child murderer / molester is supposed to be given special attention so their rights won't be violated??? and the display of the "Ten Commandments" is wrong in public places????----------come on and wake up and open your eyes
if you need other examples then you are truly blind!!!

Republicans would never win an election if they told the voters what they really stand for. So they make up lies to scare the ignorant into voting for them.
To believe that Dems want terrorists to win you also have to believe that the Dems want to die, want their children to die, and want everyone they care about to be killed by terrorists.
If you analyze anything a Repub says, it will always turn
out to be wrong or a lie.

well they said that b/c the democrats had some hard questions about the war and how it was going. the republicans couldn't answer that so as a scare tactic yet again they use that to try and secure votes but guess it didn't work. the Christan's and American ppl got tired of being used. Bush kept Americans in fear and he also used Christan values to do what he wanted. i guess they got tired of being used.

I haven't heard a single Republican Politician say that Liberals are defending terrorism. In fact, Bush said in his concession speech (and as much as I don't like him, it was rather gracious) that the PEOPLE have spoken.

cause the liberals are against the war. republicans think that if you are against the war that you think it would be okay to just stand by and let the terrorists attack us. I think the liberals have a different idea of defeating the terrorists.

It is not by what they say that supports the terrorists, it is by why they do and want to do.
Excuse ourselves from Iraq
Ridiculously politically correct and forcing it on the country
No clue about the realities of the world condition
Amnesty and inviting more to come
ACLU
Patriot Act opposition
and more

because they're at a loss as to what to say. the position of the Republicans has been simply blind-faith allegience to Bush and company. the american right-wing has been preaching violence of one sort or another for years. this war was their great chance to spread their fear-driven philosophy.
