The guy in question was sentanced to serve 1 year in prison for assult. He served only a quarter of his sentance, when released was tagged and put on licence.

Part of his early release meant that he has to attend probation for a year and complete a 9 month anger program.

He has completely turned his life around since being released, has missed 1 - 2 probation appointments for which he phoned and explained. The anger program however, he has failed to attend. He was given the oppertunity to attend on a second occasion and again failed to attend. His failing to turn up were due to work commitments and just because he couldn't be bothered to go!

He will now be taken back to court for resentancing. What is the likley hood of him being sent back to prison for a stretch?

A grandmother has blown-up herself in 'honor' of Hamas. What the heck is wrong with people like that ? It never accomplishes anything, but pain, suffering, and death.
What 'blocks' their minds from understanding this useless act ?

L Ron Hubbard did it, crap, anyone can!

So If I started my new religion, can I require that all males wear a pink hood over their heads with two holes cut out for their eyes?
This is because it takes the intimidation and masculinity out of the men, who are prone to violence and starting wars.
It would be the road to peace.
It would be offensive for the men to take off their pink hoods and show their faces, because if they did, the women would compete for them and try to rape them, or make them do housework and take care of the children.

Pink hooded men is the start of a great thing. I can't wait to write my book...

Hi,

My former husband was in Iraq several times but I can't remember what we are allowed to send there and I just received an email from my brother who says that his buddy is over there and receives no mail, no packages, no support or kind words from home.

So all of our family and friends want to know, besides letters, what are we allowed to send?

We're gonna flood this guy with love from home! Please help give me ideas of what is acceptable to send.

Like, can we bake anything (recipes would be helpful), can we send magazines like Maxim, Mens Health, etc.

What items would he need the most...socks, snacks, batteries, books, etc.

I cried when I read my brother's note saying that his buddy gets no mail. This kid is over there, far from everyone. It takes 3 weeks to get a pacakge there and I need to go out ASAP today to buy stuff to send him.

Thank you all in advance.

Ever notice that when your question gets reported a thumbs down on your question appears but no anwer? how about that? One would think that if one didn't have anything interesting or insightful to ask about one would not waste time posting deletable questions.

Practically all communist countries in history have seen widespread abuse and corruption by their rulers, and their people tend to live miserable lives. Yet, some people out there still want communism back.

If you are so passionate about the right of your Palestenian brothers that you are willing to die, kill for them then why dont you opt for a simpler solutions. Why not resettle Palestenians in your own countries. Your countries are rich with oil wealth and most conuntries will contribute for this noble cause.

What happened with this accident?
My friend and I were in his condo watching football when we hear a crash outside......There we saw a guy's car hit head on into the side of his place, mostly affecting his neighbors. As he tries to speed away, a cop is right there with his lights on. We notice the cop walks over and very very calmly and nonchalantly tells him to turn off the car and then he calls the guy an ambulance. He had also hit a car on the side of the driveway that likely prevented his car from hitting into the living room.

Anyways, the cop wasn't being too professional, he just stood there and had the "im going to get the info I need to give face". Could he have at least asked my friend and his neighbor "Are you guys ok"? No, he didn't do that and when my friend asked him for something because he thought he was leaving he gave him attitude.
Anyways, my buddy was intent to get whatever out of this because the guy was clearly hammered.Well, all of a sudden he gets nothing

Holland has recently banned the wearing of veils and the likes...........I think we should do the same in England, they've already sacked that teaching assistant who wouldn't take it off for lessons, which is a good start but I doubt it'll go much further unfortunately.

Anyone agree/have any thoughts on this??

Lets have a reasonable debate on your thoughts rather than all the do-gooders attack me for bewing racist.
