Do not take this question literally - just try and find the moral.
A disease is present in your upper leg, it is slowly killing you.
One day, if left untreted it will kill you. The problem is that the diseease carrying cells can hide themselves anywhere in the leg. The only time you can tell where they are is after they have just infected another cell, when it is too late. All the other body parts hold a meeting on how to deal with this. The foot, ankle and lower leg - all close relations of the upper leg - state emphatically that they are not diseased themselves, even though the disease can hide amongst them. They know they are under suspicion but they vow to be vigilant as much as they can. Most of the other body parts know this is pretty useless, as the disease infects new cells each day.The outspoken appendix (thats the sit-on-the fence, left wing but essentially useless body part) says that the rest of the body should send extra blood and minerals to the leg.
