Some people on here think that they are funny or will get more attention if they are politically foulmouthed.

We have laws yes and they are being ignored. Excuse me if I believe that our country is a nation and not a doormat.
Yes we all as human being have feelings - why aren't mine important? In a perfect world my children would all be in college , I would have a car that doesn't spend every other week in the garage, I would have a decent paying job or in this fantasy be independently wealthy , I would love to go to the hospital and never pay but it isn't going to happen . Life is not perfect for anyone - so every day I get up knowing that I must work and pay taxes to make ends meet.
Yes people should be treated with dignity and respect but they should also be able to understand and respect our country and it's laws and saying like : "wait your turn" or " obtain the proper paperwork" or " come here legally". It is not too much to ask. Legal immigration is a blessing to this country- it has been for over two hundred years . Illegal immigration is a drain on society , hospitals , schools and economic programs.

Most of the people in this forum have never wanted for a thing in their life. They were born and raised here in the land of plenty. Their ancestors who they either don't know or don't choose to know were illegal came and did all the hard work and now they sit back and rest of those laurels and put their "laws" in place to keep others from achieving the same level of success that their ancestors worked so hard for and achieved for them. White people in general are very selfish and self-righteous. They think their laws are above God's laws which say to love your neighbor as yourself and be kind to the alien in your land.

Well said! Amen! Your going to get flack for this one, but Im glad to see someone else feels as I do. You know what I find the saddest? Most of the people who are now hating on immigrants (illegal) are calling themselves Christians. God didnt place borders on this country. He gave us ALL the earth! God tells about the importance of Charity, yet these people rant and rave, forgetting billions go to Iraq...a country rich in oil...It is sad but then again what should we expect, we take God out of society and end up with a bunch of haters!

Because, instead of blaming ourselves for sucking and being "unable to succeed" and gain the "american dream" its just so much easier to turn a blind-eye and blame someone else for our failures. So, lets blame, um, lets see. . . Mexicans, they're handy! They have bee in America for 226 years (since 1776) and all of a sudden, ever 10 years or so, it becomes a crisis. I think its a crisis because of politics and not because they're here. Its called WAG THE DOG.
By the way, the american dream is called by a different name in every country. Do you seriously believe we're the only country that wants our people to do better?

We're not treating them like animals. We're treating them like people who've broken our laws, criminals. They didn't just wander over the border by accident, they chose to break our laws, sneak over illegally, and live here illegally, endangering us all with their driving, stealing our money by utilizing our health care system, generally taking advantage of our overwhelming propensity to kindness, not cruelty, and still begging for and taking more! The best thing we can do for the Mexican people is to build up our own country, each individual person working for himself to make money honestly, through hard work, to invent new things, produce and create industry, and lead by example. Only then can we begin to build factories in Mexico, hiring their cheap labor, and increasing their economy. If we can't fix our own country we can't help anyone and everyone suffers. By working hard for ourselves we slowly but surely fix the world and end suffering. Not by charity, which is an evil band-aid, but by production, which creates and sustains civilization and prosperity for all.

Most of the laws in place are for our protection. Unfortunately for the millions of illegals coming to USA there are a lot who come here to flaunt the system and break the law as they did in their own country therefore making it harder for someone who wants to work hard as part of the economy to be respected or accepted.

Because they are building a better life at my expense. Why am I expected to support them? I'm having a hard enough time making ends meet for myself. This is hard enough to do without having to carry the weight of criminal invaders on my back.

It is not cruel to expect people immigrating here to be loyal to America.
It is not cruel to expect them to stand on their own and not have their hands in our bank accounts.
It is not cruel to expect the to pay their hospital bills.
It is not cruel to expect them NOT to go on welfare the second they illegaly come here.
It is not cruel to expect them NOT to steal our identities and our credit.
It is not cruel to expect them to undergo criminal checks.
It is not cruel to expect them to undergo medical screening.
Frankly, the only cruelty America is experiencing is from the massive number of illegals draining our nation dry.
It is nice to feel all nice and kind about helping others. Do it out of your own pocket....do not believe in something you are not willing to sacrifice YOURSELF for.
Too many are begging Americans to be "nice" and take care of the world...but how many of you pull money out of YOUR pockets?
