For anyone that had seen him play football, it would be hard to send a very good athlete to prison. His acting wasn't that great, except for a television ad where he ran like a football player through an airport for a car rental company. It is very difficult for a star to get a fair trial. It isomething that can be compaired to playing poker with a loaded deck.

Good lawyering involves a great deal more than just trying the case. In all likelyhood the background of each potential juror was extensively researched for potential biases. An extensive voir dire was also conducted "prequestioning of the jurors in court before they are sworn in" to weed out jurors who would tend to favor the prosecution. This can all be done legally with enough financial resources to back it up. Getting the case moved to where it was tried was also important in that the potential jury pool was much more defense friendly. The racist detective was the icing on the cake. All a Defendant has to do is raise a reasonable doubt to be acquitted. A doubt for which a reason can be given. The glove that did not fit and the racist detecitve would suffice to give a defense friendly jury enough to acquit.

I don't think so. I believe he committed the murders, and I would like to take that glove and put it where the sun never shines. He's abhorrent.
