What branch of the military should I go in? I want to become a vet., but also want to be in the "action"! I know a nurse would be exiting and more a long the lines of a vet., but I kinda don't want to. It also has to have good collage offers, sugestions? Please no remarks about my spelling if you will. Thanks for your help!

well to tell you the truth you will be a in the action no matter what you are your going to be ithe action becuase girl in the army your a trained killer i want to work as a machanical ingineer im still going to be in the action my dad told me he was enrolling in the army

well the marines u do not have as much support, the airforce has action and is the future but i think the war stories are not as cool as they would be if u where on the ground,the navy u are gone to long u dont get any action and u get called seamen, but the army is a mix of all air support in shure they have some small bobats and thare is more jobs that u can do in the army.

Everyone keeps saying the Air Force is the easiest...it's not..I'm in the Air Force and I'm a cop which is a male dominated career field but I love it. It really doesn't matter what branch you go into, depending on the job you get or choose, that'll determine in you're apart of the action or not.

You might consider mortuary services, that's what my daughter did. It sounds gruesome but she found it very satisfying. I believe all branches have their own. Ask a recruiter if there are any veteranarian services training available.
Good point john s about the K-9 units. I witnessed some of their training years ago. That would be in law enforcement or security specialist training.

I served four years in the Army, it was pretty cool. I heard that the Air Force is the easiest though.

if you want to go Vet, go army....If you want a god branch to go into, and live a better life, go airforce
and they both have great colledge benifits, free tuition while active duty, and G.I. bill money for when you leave the service

you can join pretty much any military branch and train and care for their K-9's for the any military police... thats the only think thats related to your profession.... join the military police... any branch is good in my opinion.

Go Navy.!!!! They actually have hospital ships. They will give you plenty of room for advancement.
