To anyone who listens to Michael Savage and Rush Limbaugh, who speaks more for the modern day Republican party and conservatives? Which do you prefer, and why?
(If you dislike these people, please don't answer. This isn't to make people who disagree mad. I just want people's opinions on these two radio personalities. Don't answer if you just gonna say "neither, they are both idiots". Those opinions are not helpful, and I really don't wanna read it. This question is directed towards conservatives and/or Republicans)

I only listen to Savage because he's the only thing on late night when I'm working, I'm a huge Mark Levin fan, if you want to listen to an entertaining show, listen to Mark, he knows how to put liberals in their place and he gets me laughing out loud. Check out Marklevinfan.com

I'm sure both are conservatives, but Rush is certainly more of a Republican party man. I think that Rush represents a more mainstream view than Savage. His points are usually backed up with facts and evidence. Mike Savage is more of the I hate everyone and everything type and usually does not provide much to back up his assertions.

I listen to Rush when i get the chance, and i believe he speaks for modern day Republicans and usually does not pull any punches. I think Michael Savage is more of a liberal conservative who likes to ride the fence on to many issues.

Between the two I would choose Limbaugh - Savage is way out in space sometimes and just goes off on something. Limbaugh, even if you disagree with him, still follows a logical sequence in his arguments.
I do not personally prefer either. I do like Hannity and Oreilly though.

Nobody speaks for the Republican individuals. Rush is good for laughs and I watched him some on TV years ago. But I realized that I wasn't watching him because I agreed with him, but because he made me laugh.
As a conservative Republican, I do not agree with the party on everything. And that's ok. Believe it or not, there are many views on issues in the Republican party. Most Republicans agree with the party on most areas, but have some areas where they are not in agreement.
I suspect it's the same with the Democrats. I did some phone calling in the last presidential election for the Republican party, and found myself disagreeing on a few things with other people working there. With the stereotyping in our society, who would have guessed! LOL
Best Wishes,
Sue

I would have to say Rush,Savage goes on his pity parties and is quite arrogant and rude when talking to people.Rush lets people finish the point they are trying to make.I used to like Savage but hes become too self-centered for me anymore.

Rush speaks more for the modern day republican party and although i tend to disagree with him on some matters, i guess no one can please all the people all the time.

I wish I could be of some help here. I listen to Rush occasionally, but my schedule keeps me pretty much limited to the Internet.
