people in this world are so crazy. i mean u always here about these crimes in the news about people stealing, kidnapping and all kinds of other stuff! what is wrong with this world!?!why would they do that!?!

If I could answer that question, I would quit Police work and cash in on the most valuable answer in society. How do we reduce crime? How do we stop Crime? Why do some people commit crimes? I think because of their knowledge of society and how much we let them get by with and just a slap on the hand.
If we had real justice, like in the song, "I'm a simple man" crime would be reduced and the jails would be small and empty...
From a 26 year police veteran that knows just how crappie the system really is from the inside. Good question though....

I am an ex-con who served 7 years flat of a total of 85 years for armed robbery. I grew up in a good family, was a cub scout, a boy scout, and in business for myself at age 16. I believe what happened to me is that I saw an abnormal amount of official police corruption (actually had two drunken Houston Police Officers who were deer hunting try to blow my tires out because I had my bright lights on behind them), and many other instances of abuse, and I lost sight of what was right and wrong. Now, I'm a successful businessman raising a family and minding my own business. Go figure.

Sometimes it is a twisted sense of reasoning. It's not a crime, unless you get caught.so the crime is not the act it's getting caught. There used to be a similar twisted reasoning in the middle East, never could understand that; it's east is East and west is West, and never shall the two meet. Understanding felons is nearly as difficult.

I think it is because they enjoy getting away with things that they know is wrong... plus they get something for free. However, it will not be long before it will all catch up with them. They will not get away with it forever. There is a huge price to pay for sin. Trust me they will be sorry some day.... they will mess up their lives in this world and might end up in hell in the next.

I agree with LTB. With harsher punishment there would be less reoffenders. Not to mention if they made jail hell instead of a country club.

this is human prompted karma... he could by some ability pay for murdering 2 human beings... on the grounds that he substitute into too nicely-prevalent for the jury the 1st time around, the human beings have desperate to supply it yet another shot!
