Does U.S. immigration policy harm domestic workers? How should we change it?

i have a college paper due about this, but i'm oblivious to anything concerning immigration. any help?

Every nation has got its own laws. Which country started the legal system and do most countries hav the same?

Wouldnt it benefit all if all nations have more or less the same legal system??

how can I prevent a mom of 3 young kids with a job in the high $50's from joining the Army?

She is 24, single parent, She is sold on the whole GI bill, as well as the $$$$ to be made once she becomes an officer. She believes she will get a low risk MOS (method of service) and wont be sent to die in some country. I am trying to convince her otherwise.

Do you think shooting little girls is wrong....then why are we friends with those who do?

IF YOU THINK SHOOTING LITTLE GIRLS IS WRONG.
IF YOU THINK SHOOTING CIVLIANS IS WRONG THEN YOU ARE PROBABLY A GOOD PERSON.

But why are you and me taking part in these acts by paying for it with our own tax money without even knowing it.

Our US governemnt gives our so called allay (ISRAEL) plenty of money. Who in return kill our citizens and kill inoccent people on purpose.

I am not asking for the distruction of Israel but I am asking for the distruction of the Israeli regime just like what we did in Iraq.

Why does everyone think an illegal can get gov. assistance?

I know for a fact in florida if you are even a resident card holder you can not get: medicaid, food stamps,or that money every month. So why do you say they take it?

Democrats in Congress: Two Questions for the "far left"?

If you are a part of the so-called far left, do you expect the Congress to govern within your principles, or do you accept moderate to conservative governance if it could mean a Democrat, even if moderate to conservative, president in 2008?

Second question: Do you believe the makeup of the Congress is enough to place greater responsibility for what you see as failures on the Democrats, or do the Republicans retain enough power along with the President to take equal blame?

Our county is in drought, where can I report an apt complex consistently watering concrete?

I live in City of Dallas, Collin County, TX

Every night the apt I live in has a RIVER going through the parking lot and we are in drought! It is horrible and such a waste and it makes me sick. I can't find anywhere online to report it does anyone know?

When is it okay to have a holstered pistol on you?

I read in a gun magazine once that a woman being attacked by a man shot him in the stomach twice and went and filed a police report, and in the end had no consequences against her. Not sure if he died, but he could've. Was she able to keep the armed weapon in her purse like that legally?
