I came to the United States from the United Kingdom on a 90 day visa.
I want to apply for work and an SSN number but can't as my visa ran out.
I read somewhere that once your visa is up (finished) then there is nothing you can do to obtain work and an SSN number.
Does anyone have any information for me regarding this matter as i don't want to be here illegally or be branded an illegal immigrant.
I am a hard working and honest individual who only wants to make a living here in the United States.

Been married to my spouse for years and we own a home. I own property in my name and my spouse has property in their name. I don't have a will yet. Spouse has a will that was made before we got married that if he ever got married or had children, the only one that would get anything was his sibling. If something happened, will I have to fight the sibling in court for our home?
