you need to petition the courts to have your civil rights reinstated file for a governor pardon or presidential one as felon you can't own buy or use any type of firearm other then flint locks

Depends if the crime involved a gun. I think you get that right taken away.

in most all states when someone has a felon, no matter what the reasons was, they can no have a weapon.
