I live in City of Dallas, Collin County, TX
Every night the apt I live in has a RIVER going through the parking lot and we are in drought! It is horrible and such a waste and it makes me sick. I can't find anywhere online to report it does anyone know?

i find it amusing someone suggesting that i stop worrying about wasting 1000's of gallons of water when there are so many "worse" problems. in case you people don't realize, water rights and shortages are going to be one of the biggest problems faced by the world and is already a problem in many nations. there's not much i can do to bring home our soldiers but i CAN stop the waste of a precious resource. i made a request to the apt complex to do something about it and if they dont in the next couple weeks i will file a complaint with the city.

According to the City of Dallas website you are in a Stage 1 Drought Contingency Plan. Lake levels are at 35% depletion from normal.
You can report water waste at the following web address:

It is good civic duty to report water waste. It helps everyone and keeps water bills lower in the long run.
The apartment manager may be unaware of the problem. He pays for water by the gallon to keep the lawns green, and I'm sure he doesn't want 100's or 1000's of gallons just running down the parking lot into the storm drain.
One more thing, the less the landlord pays on his water bill, the lower he needs to make the rents to cover expenses. Ultimately, the water bill comes out of the rents collected. So, helping the landlord control this problem is in your best interest as well as his.
And even if it's well water, or recyled water, or if he pays a flat rate, he doesn't have the right to waste it.

it relies upon on what they recommend via "out" like enjoying interior the play floor and working around out facet, then yea I agree. maximum places have some form of noise rules that states all teenagers and events ought to be quieted down after a undeniable time. additionally who needs there youthful new child enjoying on a play floor after darkish? If the curfew states thats young people ought to be abode via that factor (uncertain how they could enforce it) then I agree which includes your husband. If a parent we could there teen flow out (which its summer season so ought to will) it is the mummy and dad determination, no longer the complicated. It extremely relies upon on what age they're concentrated on this curfew for.

How about your city water board? I live in San Antonio, and we actually have "water police" who issue fines for stuff like that... not sure really, who these "water police" are, though... maybe city water board workers?

I would suggest getting over it and finding something truly WORRISOME to get sick over. For example, the slaughter in Darfur, our own boys in Iraq, the pathetic state of our union, or the invasion of the USA by Mexicans.
