I am not American and I've always heard that the Republicans were racist and from the South. Is this true? Were these parties formed after the civil war between the North and South? Which of these parties do you think is seeking the best for the American people?

What would convince you that they are worthy of holding the seats and power that they have?

Do you think that 'some' deny the existence of Terrorism, because we don't WANT to Believe it's true ?

I've pondered, long and hard on this issue. For the LIFE of me, I am unable to understand why 'some' diminish terrorism as not a REAL THREAT . Yesterday, I decided to AVOID the use of words like Republican, Democrat, Conservative, Liberal, etc. because I really want to get a 'clear view' of what PEOPLE THINK. I'll probably have to use those words, from time to time, but I'll 'avoid' them, in the interest of CLEAR VIEWS.

So what's your CLEAR VIEW on this topic ?

I understand there are web sites which explore the conspiracy theory. Alledgedly our government has made secret plans to merge the USA, Canada and Mexico as 1 single country, totally relinquishing all borders.

Why does my color only matter in election times? Being a Democrat I have found my acceptance is not my color, but "what we can do" as compared to the Republican over tone "what can you provide"? An inter racial marriage and bipartisan home has taught me greatly, what I can expect. Questions of why in the rebuplican camps of Y.A. show racial overtones at me from stupid to your a racist. Will the Republican party ever accept responsibility for there guage of second class citizens?

Hey Fans

As i have to work on weekends, i was meant to be working when the silence was called. However, my store decided to stop all transfers and ask our customers to join in for 2 minutes. Nearly everyone decided to participate in the event, except for several people who decided to make a scene and play up. They were whingign that the service had stopped, and started demanding they were served, they were in a rush etc. The question is guys, do you agree with shops stopping for 2 minutes to signify the silence, or should they carry on regardless?

Many Republicans in Congress have come out recentley and blamed George Bush for the Loss.

They suggested that Dubya acted to late in the firing of Rumsfeld. That Dubya did not hear the people and only heard once he was handed a clear message in the loss of both the house and the sentate.

Do you think that Bush is totally to blame for the full loss in the election? Or should the repubs in a whole hold themselves accountable for the election loss?

The Republican party waved the flag and shouted "terrorist sympathizer" at every civil libertarian who attempted to defend the US Constitution, the separation of powers, the Bill of Rights, the Geneva Conventions' proscriptions against torture. We have a president who behaves--with the approval of his party--as if he were above the law.

In violation of his oath of office, Bush used signing statements to negate laws passed by Congress, not with a veto, but with his personal opinion. Bush, thus, elevated himself above the rule of law that has protected America from becoming a tyranny and made a mockery of the separation of powers that are a foundation of American liberty. Bush needs to be told that one more "signing statement" and he will be impeached, convicted, and turned over to a War Crimes Tribunal.

I actually don't like John Kerry, but how can so many call him a coward/unpatriotic? He fought in Vietnam and then protested the war. That's his right and a lot of terrible things did happen in Vietnam. People criticized his purple hearts and how he got them. Well at least he served. Bill Clinton (I like him, but he was a draft dodger) and Bush (Let's face it, he used daddies influence to get out of his obligations) never served in a war time capacity. Also, I doubt most of you giving him a hard time, ever served yourselves.
