Many Republicans in Congress have come out recentley and blamed George Bush for the Loss.

They suggested that Dubya acted to late in the firing of Rumsfeld. That Dubya did not hear the people and only heard once he was handed a clear message in the loss of both the house and the sentate.

Do you think that Bush is totally to blame for the full loss in the election? Or should the repubs in a whole hold themselves accountable for the election loss?

They are wrong! I

I believe their defeat had more to do with their lack of oversight, corruption and being a rubber stamp for Bush and his unwelcomed policies played a large part in their defeat. It was their actions, or lack thereof! They had no oversight, they gave away power relegated to Congress and the courts of the United states. They, like Bush, thought they were above the law, and they were a congress of exclusion, even to elected democrats!

If you look at history, especially lately, it is seldom we let one branch have total control of government! Now you know why!

I would say that Bush and his war were rebuked by the electorate. It was clear the election was a referendum on Bush and one can't say he was a rotten apple in the election! I hope he got the message! I hope Republicans got the message as clearly many voted against their own party, as well as people who make between $50,000 and $100,000 a year! They know who got the tax cuts and they know who shares the largest tax burden!

Rumsfeld was fired long ago. It's about Iraq. Impeachment starts in the House and ends in the Senate. Polosi may be the speaker in the House but she does not control the will of the people. Polosi is very smart, she knows she has work to do. The honey Moon is over.

I personally feel that all the Conservatives that were in power and in league with Bush are equally to blame. Those elected into office did not represent thier states well. All of the repubs equally did go along and did advise Bush. All of them can shoulder the blame for their loss. As far as I am concerned those repubs who tried to distant themselves are just as guilty as Bush. None of them listened to the will, issues of the people. All of them watered down our Ammendment rights!

it really is solid information. Mainstream u.s. is sick of Democrats blaming each and every thing on Bush and that is one reason behind the first time in fifty years we've a Republican Senator in Massachusetts. In November even California may have a Republican Senator even as Barbara Boxer is ousted. enable's desire the Democrats save blaming Bush day-after-day until eventually then.

We were do for a change! The Republicans controlled the Senate long enough! People also sent president Bush a very strong message, they don't like how he is running things! He isn't a very good leader!
