Veterans fought and died to keep a way of life and prevent an alternative way from taking over.
It is non-political and non-sectarian.
Those in the American Revolutionary War didn't know or have a political system of their own, but they knew they had to get rid of the one imposed on them!
They also knew they were shooting and and killing their kindred.
They didn't know or care if the man or woman next to them was Anabaptist, Congregationalists, Diest, Catholic, Presbyterian. They only knew they were on the same side in a bigger issue.
They were certainly aware when the dust settled, they'd have to deal with these people and their different views on how to go about doing things. But they didn't intend to do it with a gun!

Anyone who fights and dies for this country is an American hero. America is a place where all religions and beliefs are tolerated. Those that give their lives must be respected because freedom is NOT free and the price is great! Many from all faiths have paid the ultimate price! Whatever differences we may have in this country, we must ALL hold dear the blood that was shed to keep us free!

They fought and died not to promote liberalism, but to give the libs free speech and the freedom to do what they want, no matter how repugnant to you or me. Vets are there to protect everyones rights. This is the only country in the world with our kind of freedom, too many people take it for granted.

I can tell you this,,,,, CLOWN,,,, we all fought and many died just so you are privileged with the right to post gibberish just like this.
You my friend (term used loosely) will find that it is the veteran that will defend the rights of all people (not just those that agree with them) unlike bigots like you that are so narrow minded that you somehow have the idea that if a person disagrees with your opinions they must be bad people.

Veterans fought for our freedom. Our freedom allows us to live our lives with a wealth of possiblity -- whether that be marrying your high school sweetheart of the same sex and living a long, happy life together or marrying a sorority girl you cheat on and eventually turn into a fat, biter housewife.

Why do you spit on their grave? We lost 58,000 in Nam and you learned nothing from that. Just like Bush. You support the draft dodgers Bush and Cheney? Now read this" the constitution" ask someone to explain the big words. The Federal Government has no bussiness in States rights. None.

your a piece of work thats the bottom line.
We fight for freedom, not a specific political principle. Unlike other countries, we dont have a militia for each political party and agenda. We fight and sometimes die, to let our country continue its way of life.
It is the people of this country who, by electing leaders, decide on the laws and policies of our country.
We die just to allow you the freedom to decide your own fate, free of persecution and tyranny. It is your job to act responsibly with your freedom.
