Wait, notme, you are disproving my argument with a poll, WHAT??? Do you even think before you post? So now, you pick and chose when to believe Bush? Since glenn beck is like Rush, does that mean he always lies. I thought you smart libbies would understand that you can not discredit someone, just because they have a political bias. If so, I could discredit CNN for all the lies they spew, and say no one has died in Iraq. WOW

I use "you people" because I have always used those words to talk to others, I don't really care what people think of me, whether they think I am ignorant, or that I think I am better than others

Ok, I don't understand how people showed their dislike for Bush, because he was not running. If people votedt on that, then they have pretty much lost touch with the world.
Polls, so many said John Kerry was going to win. So many said that people actually liked Clinton. I doubt those, very much

People do not want to hear to good news about Iraq!!! As long as the bad news flows from the liberal laced media, people will be blind to the fact that we are winning and we are giving freedoms to people that have suffered long enough!!!!

THANK YOU!
Wonderful links!
Judging by some of the responses America does NOT know, understand, or have an inkling of the truth about the middle-east, much less Iraq!
To answer your question, most Americans only know/want to believe the negative about Iraq, believe that if they ignore terrorism it will go away, and are infact cowardly isolationists.

What do you want to bet that the media will start printing good stories about Iraq now that the Libs are in power just so they can take the credit.
Your links are good, especially Mr. becks. Go Governor!
rehcu... I don't believe you.

I think it has been controlled some what, if any of you are old enough to remember Vietnam, the news was very graphic and all the gore was shown on the nightly news, not so with Iraq. Bush does not even allow the unloading of the dead soldiers at Dover air base to be shown, he says it is too demoralizing, gives him bad press is really the problem!

So what's your point??? Yeah, it's been too few all along to do the job right, and now it's really a mess. Unfortunately, now most Americans are fed up with the war and are ready to quit and get out.
We should have secured Afghanistan, caught and hung UBL, and stopped there. But Bush had to repay Saddam for trying to kill his dad, and that's why we are there.
P.S. Do you intend to be as abrasive as your profile suggests? And why do you use the term "you people" as if everyone is inferior?

I understand your use of the "you people" as to not make this a partisam post. Funny what offends people.
I do not understand the fist link in your series as the war in Iraq has never been part of the war on terror.

From my limited knowledge of what a friend with first hand knowledge told me, Iraq is in Civil war and is much worse than when Saddam was in power. The majority of buildings have been destroyed and thousands of innocent people are being injured and killed.

Link #1 - Bush lied before, why should we trust him now?
Link #2 - Beck is opinion, not facts. Link Rush next time, he's just as credible.
Link #3 - U.S. Troops in Iraq: 72% Say End War in 2006
* Le Moyne College/Zogby Poll shows just one in five troops want to heed Bush call to stay “as long as they are needed”
* While 58% say mission is clear, 42% say U.S. role is hazy
* Plurality believes Iraqi insurgents are mostly homegrown
* Almost 90% think war is retaliation for Saddam’s role in 9/11, most don’t blame Iraqi public for insurgent attacks
* Majority of troops oppose use of harsh prisoner interrogation
* Plurality of troops pleased with their armor and equipment
Add: Bush lied, most know and the election proved it. Polls are better than allegations, try and prove me wrong. Proving Iraq had no dead is impossible, try it.
