It will never stop as long as thier are different religious beliefs and devote followers.
Those who aim to eliminate other groups for thier beliefs, take control of thier worship areas ,lands, etc.
Those who use religion and beliefs as a form of control.
Look at what underlines most every war.

You sound like I did when I was 7years old. War is not desired but unfortunately necessary in order to maintain freedom and liberty sometimes you have to fight for it, the alternative is usually slavery. For the war is not the answer crowd... what is? just look at some wars over the last 200 years and it is frightening to think if we did not win them what would happen. Civil war if not fought blacks could still be slaves now. WW11 if not fought you would probably be speaking German now. Korean war 30 million people would be living under brutal rule of Kim Jung (ill) War is like a way for mankind to improve itself we have dozens of democracies around the world now mostly thru war. 100 years ago there were only a few democracies, right now we are about 4-6 countries away from what most people would consider world peace.

Its all about greed and battle for supremacy. Its like a zero-sum game mentality, you only gain at the other person's expense.
Don't forget humans are also animals and follow Darwin's Theory of Survival of the Fittest. So no matter how much we hate wars, it is really in our nature that we just can't stop.

Peace at any price is an ill bargin for those subjagated by tyrants. There are always busy bodies who want to tell everyone else what do do, and there are always people who want to live free and be left alone. Thus there will always be war. Busy bodies trying to run the show, and people wanting to be left alone.

war definately sucks, but how do we defend ourselves against countries that will do anything to kill us? It's not like we can sit down with the terrorists and ask them to come to some compromise, if we try to protect ourselves by saying let's not let foreigners in hell breaks loose and the liberals argue that's discrimination.We are hated and some want us dead!! If we could find another way then I say let's do it but nobody knows any other way.

What are you, Edwin Starr???? Why can't people stay married? Why can't people take care of there own kids? Why do people hire Mexican guys to mow there lawns instead of them doing it themselves? No, not in our blood, but when talking fails, actions do solve the problem.

I think it's due to the fact that others want what somebody else has. One side attacks, other has to protect itself.
