Of all the shootings, and unreported suicides (to the Media), to avoid copycats.... Why isnt this issue a priority, I mean, it should definitely take precedence over homosexual marriages, dont you think?

I am confused.....would you rather our troops be in Iraq screwing around or would you rather they be training for a real threat (i.e. North Korea)? Because being in Iraq is killing our military. I see it everyday. Endless deployments, death, destruction, divorce, PTSD, etc. Is Iraq worth it? I think not. North Korea scares me a whole lot worse.

Do you think that it is more important to stand up for what is right whether it is against the law or not or follow authority?

over hunting because fish do not scream like other dying animals. Does this make abortion , in a sense, more acceptable?

i have a -small- Govt project. my partner and i have to videotape a short commercial (no longer than 1 minute). it has to be creative and target an audience (young people 18-24). and it has to be to get people to vote (because we all know that's a huuuuuge problem). most of our ideas have been really silly and stupid. i don't care if it's amusing or hilarious or completely not funny, just need it to work.

I've been asked if I use gas or oil
due to my questions relating to
Bush's war for the oil...

I ride a bike or walk everywhere and
very RARELY use my car...
I need to go to town about once a month
to put in about 1/4 tank and spend about
$15 per month on gas...
I live in a very warm year round climate and
the heater is set to 60 degree's and my gas heating
bill is about $20 per month.

How much do you spend on gas
and heating per month?
Do you conserve gas and oil like I do?

The shameless rebuttals are not about the futility of the deaths of innocents but the fact that it may have been overstated.

I would say yes. That way they would know the sacrifices being made hourly by those of us out on the tip of the spear.

I received a ticket in the state of Michigan for running a red light. I denied responsibility because the light was yellow. At my court hearing the video tape which shows whether or not I ran the red light was not shown because the magistrate says I have to request it. Another court date was set and the video tape will be showed, however, the magistrate said they may not have the tape because the incident occurred two months ago (because I travel a lot the court date was scheduled about two months after the incident) If the magistrate does not have the video what are my rights? I do not want it to end up with the police officer giving his story and then with me telling my story and then allowing the magistrate to judge because he will rule in favor of the police officer.
