I've bitched and complained to high heaven about the Illegals. When in fact the answer to your question is rather simple. Force businesses to STOP Hiring illegals. When the jobs dry up the Illegal flow will stop. The Hard part is exactly how do we get our government to make businesses STOP hiring Illegals when the Businesses are the ones Lineing there pockets with all that CASH and campaign contrabutions. So thats actually the problem we face. The answer is clear Now all we need to accomplish is getting it implemented.

The question is really good ,thank you. One law we have in this country is that each country is allotted so many people who may come here each year & applay for citizen ship or get a green card. The INS is soppose to stop anyone who is here from a country who has filled their guota.but the people keep coming , not just Mexicans but people from allover. The INS need to do a better job. They all do. Inforce the law//Judy Funny Girl. The person who cuts my lawn gets $30.00 every time He is from Chile. & Shy Angel I have to agree with you. If the employers (like me) just hired legals it would go a long way towards solving the problem.I spend about $ 25,000 per year making sure I have nothing but legals working for me. I double & triple check their papers. So far I have 9 non Americans (3 Mexicans , 4 Indonesions,2 Candains) working for me. Those who hire illegalsmay pay less but in the long run they loose on the turn over. All my nationals have been with me at least 7 years where the illegals stay about 1to 11/2 years at the most because they have to keep moving to stay a head of the INS. I pay more & i get more.

I hate liberals who resort to using the term "racist" at the drop of a hat (or sombrero). Let's remember, CITIZENS have rights, not illegal aliens. The Mexican government is a bunch of hypocrites. Guess what? They have a wall/fence on their southern border with Guatemala. The bottom line is that illegal aliens are ruining my life in California and I'm sick of it. Bush is an idiot. Build the damn fence, stop hiring them, and don't rent to them. Earn your citizenship the legal way. Get in line like the others.

The one good thing Bush has done while in office is sign the legislation to build a fence along 700 miles of the US/Mexico border. The sooner they get the fence built, the better - and let's hope it does some good.

Prosecution of landlords and businesses that rent/hire illegal immigrants. Amazing how simple it is. If they didn't have places to live or a job that would pay them, they would have no reason to come here, and no reason to remain here.
What should the penalty be? A fine so huge that the people caught would lose just about everything they have. I think if people lost a lot (not just $10 grand), they would be less likely to violate things. . .

first of all, how are we being racist? we're trying to solve the damn problem: a deluge of illegal aliens. we CAN do something about it. stop the idiotic "rights for illegals" protests, for one. WHY IN THE NAME OF **** would illegal people get rights? we're letting them off to easy. We need a strong immigration department, and we should ship all the illegal aliens back to mexico, canada, wherever they came from. wait for a green card if you really want to come.
