i have been one of those canon balls along with a number of my friends,
it is not a nice feeling when you are on an 8 man patrol a
then all of a sudden you are confronted by a baying mob reaching the number of 200 just because some trigger happy plonker who tried to shoot one of us missed and hit someone else in a passing taxi,
because of the mob attacking us he got away,
but that's what it means to be on a PEACEKEEPING mission and it is just the same all over the world as it is in Northern Ireland and Iraq is just a lot bigger scene than Ireland but the warfare is just the same, you try and help the people that need the help and end up being stoned, shot, and bombed by those that don't want the peace because they would lose out on their money making deals if democracy took over

You are certainly talking terrorist talk. Hope you got a lot of calls seeing that you volunteered to be the first military human cannonball. Remember it could be against your own country.

Tell us how you fared.

Sure...let's start with the prisoners on death row. Then the child molesters. Then maybe use the people that are too lazy to go find jobs and would rather abuse the system ( I am NOT talking about ones who really are unable to work). With those people gone, our country may have a little more money to use on OUR country. But then we'd have to use some politicians. They would get greedier and give themselves bigger pay raises.

I think we are already using. All the people that are killed there from all sides, are the human weapons sucrificed for the so called 'war on terror'.

No we should be involved in Bush's little fights at all, the man is mad. If we go back 60 years and look at what hitler did, bush is just the same, only he trys to dress it up differently, by using the U.N who lets face it are run by the U.S as no one else has the power to knock them of the top spot. We are just as responsable for it though and the quickier we can pull Blair's head out of Bush's **** the better! But of course that wont happen because we are still sucking up to the yanks for the great favour they did us in 1945 when they leant us a load of dosh and a few troops to finish that war off. It will just keep going round and round and we will continue to send our troops where ever bush wants them. He is doing nothing less than what hitler did, but at least Hitler was honest to his people and not a lying ******* butcher like Bush and Blair are! I'm British and ******* ashamed of it! Becuase I allow idiots like Blair to talk for me! I tell you, there is revoluotion in the air and it won't come from the middle east, when is comes it willl come from within this country.
Don't be fooled by all you see and hear either. Bush likes to stick a stick in a wasp nest and give is a pock to make them worse. He has already proven that. So expect alot more countries to be needing the assistance of Bush n Blair very soon!

You may be surprised to learn this, but... it looks like we already are. DARPA (US defence research agency) recently filed patent on a compressed-air-powered personnel launcher designed to fire SWAT teams or firemen onto terrorist-infested buildings.

And if you think it can't possibly be true, you've never worked for an arm of the US Government :) Weirder things happen daily.

Some questions posted on YA in the past have made me think that some members of the human race are not in control of their most important faculty - the one that is responsible for intellectual or even lucid thought.

But it seems the questions are commensurate with the single cell life forms still prevalent in our society.

Apart from most of the politicians plagueging our planet, who would you suggest we could use for this perspicacious venture?

LMAO you kidding? Here we are screaming how civilized we are and how barbarous the terrorists are, and you are asking if we should be using human cannonballs? I think human targets (aka soldiers) are enough already.

Brilliant! It would save on ammunition and I can think of quite a few people I'd like to fire out of a cannon.
