In California - I know there is a law on the ballot to have registered sex offendered not live within 2000 of a school. Is there a law in place right now that they can't not live with in a certain distance to a school.

We are looking at a house with a registered sex offender living in the neighborhood. But the house is near a school. Will this person have to move?

85% of our population lies within the range of moderate whether it be republican or Democrat. Why then does the far right control the republican party and the far left the democratic party. Why can't Americans get true representation? Also how will you vote this election season?

the store (in my country) suggested to place the cigars in a dominican cigar box and have it sealed!!! but this is unethical and wrong. would u.s airport immigration confiscate the box (cuban)? and would they cause me any trouble? even if it was for personal use or a gift! the store owner told me that all americans use dominican boxes to decieve the port authority! who cares anyways, since castro should die any moment now.

Noted with interest a comment by a poster stating that after 1973 nationalists could vote in the Six Counties! By that time it was too late. Nationalists and Catholics had been mistreated for far too long. And just a point of information. In 1969 when nationalist/catholic areas were being attacked by loyalists backed up by the RUC and B Specials the IRA did not exist. They grew as a result of the setarianism directed phyisically against them.

So don't take your starting point Five years after the start of the violence as if what happened before didn't matter.

Nelson Mandella was using violence against the racist rulers in South Africa. Are you going to start after his release when the black South African could now vote. GET A BOOK and read the facts.

Would anyone on this mb allow themselves to treated as a second class citizen? Not be allowed to vote in their own country and attacked because of their religion because they dared ask for equality?

I hear alot of people say that republicans are more for religion than democrats. I have also heard that many Dems. are wanting to do away with Christianity. Well, personally I think that is exaggerated to the extreme. I see no evidence of Democrats wanting to take away religious freedoms. I'm not a Democrat or a Republican. I'm just saying you need to think about what you say before you say it! After awhile all this mudslinging just gets old! Everyone wants to slander the president no matter what party he's from and no matter how hard he tries to do good for his country. I suffered miserably because I worked in a factory with people who listened to Rush Limbaugh and everyday it was Clinton and Lewinsky! And Now its Bush and Iraq. It just gets old you know?

WASHINGTON - Former Federal Reserve Chairman ALAN GREENSPAN said on Thursday both private investors and central bank were shifting away from the U.S. dollar and toward the euro.

"We're beginning to see some move from the dollar to the euro, both from the private sector ... but also from monetary authorities and central banks," Greenspan told a conference sponsored by the Commercial Finance Association.
