Miss Cool, Like all dictators, he could point to personal "good" points in his reign, like his vegetanarian diet, his love of dogs and his stratagies bringing Germany out of a horrific Depression. But there was really no excuse for people to be fooled by his "good" qualities. He stated his evil intentions in his book "Mein Kampf". He told the world that he intended to wipe everyone but 'pure' Aryans off the face of the earth. He ordered mass murders of the Jews, the mentally ill, the intellectually challenged and homosexuals. These were not the only people he destroyed. He even had people he loved murdered when they wouldn't do as he commanded. Read about the nature of his relationship with his niece to see that in action. Under his regime, concentration camps were filled with what he termed undesirables and they were gassed, shot, starved and worked to death. Many of them were cremated in large ovens. These structures still stand at Auchwitz and Buchenwold. Check out Wikipedia on the Holocaust. Good luck with your project.

First of all, He was an amazing Patriot.
The time he rose to power in Germany, was a time when the Germans were humilated by the Treaty of Versailes, after the First World War. And whatever he did was an act of Patriotism.
But the bad thing was that he had a misplaced idelogy!!!!!
He belived that the only race superior was the Aryans and the Germans were the sole decendends of the superior race. And all the other races were inferior to them.
Only if he was more cautious about is actions and was more SENSIBLE, He could have been a great leader(which he was in the wrong way)

I think Hitler was a very ambitious man. He wanted to be the leader of the world but he failed. He thought that German race is the best and the more suitable to manage the Humanity. He believed also that Jews are evil creatures and responsible for all the misery and poverty in Germany.so he wanted to get rid of them all. I think he was in the same time ambitious and nuts.

Hitler believes strongly in nationalism, and he's a hero for the Germans themselves by trying to counter some various areas in Europe to enlarge Germans regime or administration's ploicies. but was very dominant and harsh through his policy of having a pure race for his country......lol thats all i can remember from my high school history

Hitler was a very evil madman. The answers you already have point that out. One thing that he did could be the western industrilized nation's way out of oil dependence. His scientists developed the technology to convert coal to liquid fuel.

The Israeli govt. is doing today to Palestinians, exactly what Hitler did to them, only the means have changed, Hitler gassed them, and they are using bombs, guns, bulldozers etc, and nobody (in Europe / US /UK) ever calls it evil... Why ?
Forget Hitler, even his bones have turned to dust, concentrate on today's evil characters the world over ,and try to remove them from power.
