Or have been to the local recruiter to go defend this nation? Or have put your life on the line defending our way of life? Or have smelled the rank odor of death and destrution?

If you have done neither of these, yet defend this state of perpetual war we are currently in, why the heck shouldn't I, and all the rest that have served or continue to serve, not consider you stinking hypocrties?

See the link below to a campaign poster during the Civil War. The Democrats desire the North to surrender and "compromise" with the South. In addition they label the war "useless." Your thoughts?

I mean, whoever is in office will look horrible when we pull out and leave the country to be overrun by extremists who are even MORE pissed off at us now than ever. So those Reps saying that Dems will "cut and run" are obviously ingorant themselves. Politics is politics is politics. We will be in Iraq for the rest of time, forever involved in that regions warring peoples. If you don't think these high-powered politicians aren't looking out for how good they look to the people, then you are as gullible as they come. And to think ANY politician would stand in front of America and NOT lie about even the most important and personal aspects of ANY situation is absolutely naive. Vote for whoever you want to, but we are not leaving that country. There is too much politically at stake.

Americans must learn to love Bush. We must follow him like a father figure. We must teach our young children to be just like him.

Respecting the President and never question his action are the first two great step to being a "TRUE" American Patriot.

Never question his advisors even if they are Canadains.

I hope this will not make me lose 10 points today.

Webb wears combat boots to show off that he was in Vietnam, (kind of like hypocrite John Kerry wearing medals on his fatigues) and then Webb won't state his position on these two critical issues. What else is he hiding?

values are hard to understand as being the same as the ones taught by Jesus.
Does anyone remember the Christian left when the word Christian is thought of..

I feel many of the Christian right support things Jesus would not approve of like more love for rich than poor//

hating people on welfare and forgetting that Jesus loved the poor and gave the workers who worked just an hour in his parable the same wage (benefits) as those who worked hard all day and we are to share and help others while they loudly express their hatred for people who they perceive are lazy and beneath them

//not valuing peace and deriding peace activists and trusting military over God for protection, no concern about dropping depleted uranium

//love big business and corporations despite its receiving far more tax dollars in corporate welfare despite its tax cheating, job outsourcing, environment destroying, political bribing, etc while having no problem with cutting 50 billion from social program

Their voter turn out is 95%. Personally, I think it is a great idea. Americans are too apathetic --perhaps we should consider the same. What do you see as the pros and cons to required voting?

Heres my story... Terrible problems with gambling.. I lost two vehicles due to gambling and completely drained my bank account.. While I was in air borne training I went to my CO and told him I needed help, that I needed to go see a therapist. He ignored my complaint so my family sent a message through red cross saying I needed help with gambling. He took this one serious and gave me a two week leave. I returned home and for 6 months lost every penny I made and more... Never returned since. Now I am going to GA for gambling and seeing a therapist... My recruiter knows I am AWOL and so do all my family and friends.. I have a job where I had to pass a background check and I have been pulled over and ticketed 2 months ago... I went to court and nothing!!! I never made it to my official unit.. I went from ait in benning to airborne in benning.. I would love to get over this Gambling problem and be able to serve my contract out proudly.. I never ran from anything I love the army and the USA

"The 60-million-dollar funding shortfall comes just as the annual "lean season" approaches, when people have to wait until next March or April for the next harvest," a statement by the World Food Program (WFP).

We send millions every Year for decades on end and it's the same story. Isn't it time those people just move? Read the above article. If I had to wait until next March/April for food. "I would move"
What should we do with these people. Keep the same path etc..??
