Because Turkey isn't part of the EU, because the UK is starting to restrict foreign visa's being granted and because the Turkish workforce skills are not in demand.

Also, because Turkey is a massive nation with large family units and letting a few people in would start off a pattern of Turks in Britain marrying Turks in Turkey, then bringing them over. That starts a snowball effect.

the economy of turkey is poorer than ours a large percentage of Turkish people don't go back as a menial job here can pay substantially more than a trade in turkey. whilst the government here tries to prevent letting in Turkish residents that they consider to be a risk, they can not be 100% successful. they do however check bank accounts of Turkish nationals and try to en devour they have something to return home for in the way of a thriving business or a close family network. we can not just allow anybody to come here consider the repercussions this would have on our own economy

Because there are enough people here already.
We should only give out visas when a UK National emigrates to another country- a sort of reciprocal agreement.

Unless you meet the criteria to enter the UK, you will be refused a visa. You must be able to prove to the immigration officer of your intentions.
