j/w b/c it could happen...so who do u think would win if the U.S.A. went to war with Russia AND China? my bets are on the U.S. (since i'm an american) but who do u think would win?

Everyone will CERTAINLY loose.
If war gows nuclear.....complete annigilation.
Cause USA + Russia nukes power ONLY are enough to make 24 small planets from our Earth.
ABM does not work and Russia already have counter - ABM.
So, if it will NOT go nuclear.
Neither country (USA Russia China) can NOT control other for a long period.
You know, USA can not control Afganistan + Iraq.
What to say about 2/3 of earth territory (Russia) or - 2/3 of world population (China) ?
Moreover, even if conflict LOCAL but long enough - USA will loose major provider of cheap goods (China), China will loose major provider of export (USA) and resources Import (Russia).
In case of any war which involves Russia oil and many other natural resources prices will rise 3-4 times immediately.
Europe will be left without energy.
If China involved - world will be left without cheap goods.
And if USA involved in that scale war - dollar will fall immediately to lowest values.
So world will be left without money too.
As you can see - it is quite hard to find any winner in any war between 3.
In any case this will be complete or - rather (hope people have a bit of mind) substantial shutdown of civilization.

China wouldn't even need Russia. USA can boast about spending hundreds of billions of dollars on defence. But they cant boast about having a standing army of 6million and reserves of 25million! Very soon China will have the capability to rule the world. They wont try however because they are not war mongers and hawks like the Americans. Also nobody definitively knows how much money China is ploughing into its military, but it wont be pittance. Therefore i think that China would win, but would try to avoid war. America would lose, and would be the one starting the war.

That depends. In the most likely scenario, Russia and America would break down and fire nukes. We would both be able to defend against some of them, but not all. China might or might not use them. They would likely lead a ground force (if invasion was part of the plan). In short, we would not win that war, but we would not be taken either. Just imagine the "terrorists" Americans would have fighting occupation. Roadside bombs, carbombings, suicide bombings ... do not feel safe because you are American, friend. We are just as mortal and herd-like as any other nation on this small planet.

I believe all 3 countries understand the price of a nuclear war, so it would be a brutal but usual war. The USA has never lost a war, Russia has & is in financial trouble. China has few allies & ours will step up when it means their deaths. See WWII - they may cut & run from Iraq but it would be different from China or Russia. The geographic difference makes this war hard to fight & win for anyone.

No one. here's a fact that was on the Discovery Channel. There are enough nukes between Russia and the US to wipe out 9 billion people. currently there's only 6.6 billion in the world and by time you read this it'll be 6.7.
Man for Man we'd put up one hell of a fight, but we could not sustain the attacks. Unless our generals are Great leaders. One thing we have going for us is our technology and experience with fighting wars as we are doing it all the time.

You should be figuring out how to prevent wars. No one wins a war. everyone who plays ends up a loser. You might realize that at one time The United States had the only atomic weapons in the world and had the power to take over the world. They didn't take that step thank god. The US military is the most highly trained force in the world primarily because they keep fighting bush wars that keep their troops veterans and up on the latest technology. So the US does have and edge. You still end up losing if you play.

If it is just the US and Russia + China, you would be wiped off the earth.
If it was the allies as well you might win
Plus when was the last time you guys won a war by yourselves?
Vietnam, you lost
Korea, you lost
Allied won WW2
Allies won WW1
UN won Gulf War

with this day and age, no one all three sides would lose, too much nuclear weapons in each countries disposal, i am american too and served in the military and i personally think we would be matched on all sides, no country wins a war, every participant loses something
