Watch the preview. The Dixie chicks recieved death threats because they don't like bush. Free speech must be UnAmerican, huh republicans.

Bush and his bs represent the lower educated people of the US and he has his supporters, who are no doubt of limited intelligence as well. So when the DC went against him it became very "unamerican" to that crowd of uneducated backwater hillbillies who in turn sent them death threats. Makes sense right? I guess the DC lost thier "base" But the bigger picture is that he has been successful at rallying people by appealing to thier small minds and inate need to hate someone else. So if you dont "hate the bad guys" you must be unamerican. The fact that it works/worked is totally freaky.

Remember, following a president's lies blindly about a war is more like communism, than American.

So why, did The Dixie chicks recieve that mail for doing something protected under the constitution??

I know a lot of troops over there are being made to stay longer, instead of 6months some stay 12-18months whether they are about to go insane or not..I heard a few are commiting suicide b/c thats there only way out and they can't take it anymore. IN ur opinion do you think they are going to make everyone single military persons stay longer? or do you think some will come home when they are suppose to? my b/f is suppose to stay 6months and i'm afraid he will have to stay longer only to come home for a month or 2 then leave again for his 4th and 5th time. Im glad he is doing it but he needs a break sometime...

Why would a 6'5" retired Military Officer with training in anti-terrorism, give up his airplane (flight 77) to 5 foot tall, very slim man named Hani Hanjour holding a small knife so it could be flown into the Pentagon

I really shouldn't have stooped to the Aussie's racist level, and I realize 2 wrongs don't make a right. I really don't care what people think of me on here, just what I think of myself, so I want to apoligies to the Aussie's. Well with that being said I can forgive myself and move on. Happy Halloween!

You hear people cry that the rich aren't being taxed enough, and that no one is giving the poor enough money. Well, let me strike the root of the premise here. Why are poor people so special that they deserve an entire system designed to steal by force the wealth of others who actually work for it to give to them. You'd think they were gods or something.

In earlier times, people would be taxed, expected to give up a portion of their harvest, sacrifice their best animals, all to appease the gods. Now, we have to do the same for poor people. Since when did they become gods? Or do you think they are a test of mankind, sent to us by the gods?

There is nothing special about poor people. They are just an unambitious, incurious bunch who never studied in high school, but expected the more conscientious kids to give them the answers on the tests. Sorry, I don't feel any obligation to support them and their self-destructive habits and bad values.

They say that the news should be fair politically, as in they should never lean towards one side. But, of course, they do. Fox, ABC, CNN, etc...which ones are a little more democratic? More republican? Is there one that represents a good balance?

Medical Doctors:
(A) The number of medical doctors in the U.S. is 700,000
(B) Accidental deaths caused by physicians per year are 120,000
(C) Accidental deaths per physician is 17.14%
*****Statistics courtesy of the U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services*****

Guns:
(A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000 (yes that's 80 million)
(B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500
(C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is 0.001875%
***Statistics courtesy of the FBI***

So statistically, medical doctors are approximately 9,000 times more
dangerous than gun owners. Remember, guns don't kill people, doctors do?

Harold Ford, He's just not right?

He didn't seem to want to counter at the implications of getting at voters misgivings on race.

He landed it down in a kitchen add, only tipping at it:
"If I had a dog, he'd probably kick my dog too."

Taking it rather graciously, don't you think?
Or is Harold better met, At a PLaayboy Partieeee?
Is the ad just funny?
Or irrelevant?

So much for "God bless America." How can we be blessed when we illegally invaded other country (Iraq) and the conservatives have been hiding the real truth from us regarding the number of death tolls Iraquians. The iraquians are flesh and blood just like we are, they are friends, sisters, mothers and fathers to someone else. If we really think this country is based on God's help then how come we have greedy Bush and his friends running this country by giving more to the rich and less to the poor with the tax system. Knowing that how could anyone still have voted for him? Proverbs 22:16. "He who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and he who gives gifts to the rich-both come to the poverty." Bottom line, America is no longer being blessed!
