go through switzerland like my husband does every year, you dont need a visa to go to swiss and crossing the border is easy. france denied his visa almost every time, they are a racist country and can kiss our #@!

You can always apply, but try to find out why your visa was denied. Possiblities include: 1. Your citizenship; certain passports such as say North Korean (never met anyone with it though) would probably prevent you from traveling to Europe. 2. Status in the US (a green card will usually get you a Shengen visa) 3. Inability to show you have sufficient funds to cover your trip 4. If your name is on any list (no-fly, security concern, etc).
One would need to know the answers to at least the first 3 before determining the likelihood of your getting a visa if you applied again.
