People on alert say:

"The budget says the US debt is $8.2 trillion but today it is more than $66 trillion. That includes the money that is supposed to be put away for Social Security and Medicare and isn’t.

It took America 204 years to accumulate $1 trillion in debt – now that is incurred every 18-months.

The number of workers filing for unemployment went from 10,000 to 312,000 last quarter

Forty-eight percent of individuals in families earning from $35,000 to $50,000 have very serious problems paying medical bills.

The latest terrorist incident is a setup to condition the public. This is pure psywar, psychological warfare, to prepare the pubic of America and Europe for the pending invasion of Syria and Iran. The main objective in this timeframe is to get the incumbents and Republicans reelected in the US in order to solidify the Middle East bloc of nations, control their oil, out-flank Russia and China and to bring about a corporatist fascist dictatorship in America.

I don't need alot of the goverments big long boring explanation on each laws and how its turn into a law. Just a short simply understanding of why we have it.Some may makes sences others may not. If it has to be in a kids friendly way. That's o.k. too. I'm just curious. I know about the bicycle helmet law and what its for(to protects our noddles..lol.. ;-) and then there is a more serious one like you can't be marry to more than one person at a time.Which I thinks the guys hate that one..lol..

Would that allow a better understanding of logistics, reality and suffering?

From the Independent newspaper this morning:

"Mark Lancaster, Tory MP for North East Milton Keynes and a major in the Territorial Army who has just returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan, said: "My view is that British forces are having to cobble units together. The current level of operation is unsustainable."

If more politicians served in horrendous conditions, perhaps they'd be less inclined to precipitate those said same conditions...

They just reported on FOX NEWS (yes, I watch Fox News to keep in tune with what the republicans are thinking) that China is working with the U.S. to build more oil fields. Halliburton is currently there rebuilding parts of Iraq and extracting its oil. And this activity will only increase over time.
Are there any uninformed people out there still believe oil has absolutely nothing to do with it? And if so, why?

MN gets very cold in the winters and I am eagerly doing my very best to try and find coats and/or jackets for OUR MN Homeless!!! We have familes, young people and the elderly; who are currently in dire need for these items!!! I figured by now, that some of the Larger U.S Apparel Mfg.'s, who happen to make very Large Profits; could easily give away ALL the NEEDED coats and Jackets! Why them, U ask?? Because Most of our homeless people Today, came from those companies! Those companies DUMPED ALL THE U.S. EMPLOYEE'S and then MOVED ALL the mfg. plants to China to make Super Large Profits Off of the U.S.'s citizens!!!!

like people who think all mexicans should go back to mexico, you all have anscestors who immigrated here and you wouldn't exsist if we just plain sent them back where they came from when they first got here. they are doing jobs the very vast majority of americans do not want todo. Also people who think its un-american to be a liberal, just because some one is liberal it does not mean that they hate america, liberals do not hate america, we hate the path we are heading on, which is the opposite of what this country was founded on. if anything it appears that conservatives hate america, because they certainly are ruining it.

my neighbors 2 german shepards broke through the neighbors fence and attacked my little dog in my own front yard. and attacked another pedestrian who tried to help my little

my dog suffered 17 stiches and it cost me $400 dollars and cost me a day of work ( about $240 dollars )

I dont feel safe with these 2 dogs living next door. they are big german shepards and this isnt the first time they got out and the neighbor doesnt care and acted like it was no big deal.

I called animal control and they told me they would be back monday to fill out a ( Dangerous Dog Form ) * I dont know what that is*

I personally would like to know what recourse i have. I would like to have both his dogs given to an animal shelter to find a more caring owner. It is how an owner raises a dog which makes the dogs as violent as they are.

What can i sue for? how much? ( I want to hurt his pocket so he can start to care about how dangerous his dogs are and how irresponsible he is.

Ted Kennedy has acknowledged that Ronald Reagan "will be honored as the president who won the Cold War." But if a letter from the head of the KGB to Soviet leader Yuri Andropov is authentic and accurate, then Kennedy offered to work with the Soviets to undermine the very efforts by Reagan that brought us that victory.

The letter, dated May 14 1983, features in a new book by Paul Kengor called The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism discussed here by the Washington Times. In the letter, KGB head Viktor Chebrikov describes a message he received from Kennedy through Kennedy pal and former U.S. Senator John Tunney. According to Chebrikov, Kennedy (through Tunney) expressed concern with "Reagan's belligerence" and the fact that antipathy towards the Soviets will be an important issue in the 1984 presidential campaign. Kennedy stated that the peaceful intentions of the Soviets weren't being given their due by the president or the media. He therefore proposed a meeting with Soviet officials in which he would "arm" them with arguments "so they may be better prepared and more convincing during appearances in the USA." He also suggested that Andropov made himself available for interviews by media in the U.S.

In short, if the KGB man's account is accurate, Kennedy was working with the Soviets to undermine Reagan's hard line policies and influence the 1984 election. As Kengor puts it:

If the memo is in fact an accurate account of what transpired, it constitutes a remakable example of the lengths to which some on the political left, including a sitting U.S. senator, were willing to go to stop Ronald Reagan.

Raise your hand if you believe that Ted Kennedy and today's left-wing Democrats are above this sort of behavior when it comes to stopping President Bush.

Soviet archives also indicate that Jimmy Carter and Tip O'Neill offered to collaborate with the Russians to undermine Reagan.

A coworker of mine, Zoltan, was talking to me on Friday afternoon after we got off duty. He was talking politics and mentioned how he feared for his children's generation. He said that he was really happy with the open arms he was received with in this new country, but confided in me that he felt that he was being given special priviledges and assistance not available to ordinary citizens. He felt that if the economy goes worse or something that "the pendulum could swing the other way" and that there could be a backlash against newcomers, possibly in the time of his children since everything is so good for him now.

Do think it's possible that things could get unpleasant for newcomers ? I told him not to worry since people are generally getting more generous and tolerant........
