Until they do, does that make all Muslims suspect? How can they claim to be peaceful when they allow others to run down their faith with barbaric actions?

Yes Muslims should be suspect. It is not a religion of peace it never was never will be . Its a religion of dominance. Fear and suppression. Every Muslim country was raided and It's people were forced to convert or dye.
That's a fact .
The Prophet Mahmud declared that you must be come a Muslim or your an infidel and all infidels must be killed because your better dead than an infidel. Whacked out Muslim extremest Like Aukmadinadjud would have no problem dropping a nuclear bomb on America even if it meant his own death You can not win the hearts and minds of people who strap suicide bombs on their babies Thy have no hearts and thy have no minds we must win the war on terror or dye.

I hear many Muslims disavowing the actions of the radical militant Muslims. I also hear many Christians disavowing the actions of the radical militant Christians. Now we have a WAR on drugs, a WAR on "terror", a covert WAR here and there... I don't see the peace HERE. And, I expect, neither do most Muslims.

There are millions of muslims that want to be done with radicalism. Ask the average Iraqi on the street.

Lots of Muslims have denounced the actions of Islamic extremists. Perhaps you haven't been paying close enough attention.

I think moderate muslims are angry at the west so they don't want to help us, even though they agree that terrorism is wrong. They don't want to seem like they are endorsing the policies of the US and other countries which they see as unfair to them, so they stay silent not because they agree with terrorism, but because they dont' want to be complicit with Israel and the US.

Essentially, that does make all Muslims suspect. I might only trust Muslims who fight back against Jihad ... which would make them not Muslims.
