By applying for a temporary visa or signing up for a guest work program_do not know if now in effect do know planned ask American Consulate,Amerian Embassy or Immigration.You can apply with Immigration to come into this country a legal resident-do not know how long this takes but once approved and you come here then you'll be given a green card and every year in January you have to report your address.Sometimes churches here in the US will sponsor a person from a foreign country if they wish to come and better their lives-talk with your local priest a green card allows you to work in the US legally. Ask Immigration of any and all the organizations that help people come to this country. I wish you a happy life here in the US

Well, you would have to follow procedures and have proper documentation. Without that you cannot become a legal citizen. For example to get a Social Security Number, Passport or a Citizenship Card.

My best friend is from Holland, she worked at the police department with me. She has a "green card" meaning she has filed and PAID a flipping fortune for the paperwork to be here legally.

you can get a green card but it's hard to recieve one. It took me 5 years to get mines. I wish you good luck and hope you get yours early . Oh and if you find someone that can help you with your papers , things should go fine ^_^
