This would eliminate the 'dangling chad' problem, computer glitches, and some of the other problems that we have had in the past.

Personally I'm a fan of optical scan ballots. You just mark it down on a piece of paper, there's a paper trail, it's totally intuitive, and it takes about 30 seconds to count the votes at the end of the night.

Florida's problem is that there are a lot of old people who are half blind and can't see and too weak and shaky to punch a ballot card. Do you seriously think they will be able to make a mark that doesn't shake and scrawl across a couple of candidates' names? It needs to be a mechanical machine with levers you flip down to vote. In the next election, if there are major problems with the computer voting machines there will be a major outcry for something else, but whatever it is, if the voter is too old and racked with Parkinsons and Alzheimers it won't work whatever it is. Michael J Fox is an example of one who will be slamming around in the voting booth so much he probably won't be able to work any type of voting method, so what do we do then? I'm at a loss.

Nothing that is done will work for everyone.

Oh YEA! I voted early just to be sure I could get the paper ballot. Something isn't right and people know it so I think the American people should DEMAND Paper Ballots!

It's not as easy to fix an election using paper.

Yes, voter fraud is too easy as it is! Let's not make it easier for someone to steal an election! We have already been there!
