In 2004, I was forced to take a plea for aggravated assault that I didn't even do. I already spent 152 days in maricopa county jail. At the time my public defender said to me, "I could not tell the judge that the victim put his hands on me first." The judge wouldn't take that as a plea, he says. That would be self defense. So I was put on 3 years probation. It's been about 2 years and I have paid my fines on time and never missed my monthly appointments. I flew back to New Mexico for a court hearing and didn't get permission from my P.O. I was instantly put on I.P.S. and have to start my standard probation all over. They put me in a half-way house and not allowed to see my fiance and 2 kids that I lived with for 3 years. They made us stop our repowing business and made me get a $7.00 an hour job. Even though I haven't been convicted for anything in New Mexico, Arizona is taking action like I need to do some prison time. I am scounded for 2 weeks now. Need to resolve this.

Five years ago when Bush got the memo of an impending attack he didn't leave his phony ranch either. I think the current liquid explosive alert is legit, but it seems to be the result of homegrown British terrorists, not people from the Middle East. Thank God the Brits are on their toes. We seem to be just as asleep at the wheel as we were five years ago.

If your response is going to consist of personal insults or saying that I love terrorism and hate America, than you're a liar, because none of that is true.

Isn't it sad to think that if a major country elected a referendum party, it would almost certianly mean the end of the world within about 2 weeks? Look at the sales figures for some of the more facist tabloids etc.

Had the IRA not given up the other year?
Good timing that dont you think?
Or does a lack of oil have anything to do with it?

HI,

My mom is a US citizen living in Singapore for many years now. Every year she returns to the United States. She does not have income because she's dependent on her Singaporean husband.

Recently, she tried to petition my brother as an immigrant to the US to join the rest of the family . She was informed by the consulate that she needed to submit a letter of explanation on the legal basis of why she had not filed her income taxes in the past years. She was told that she needed to file it even if she had NO income and was dependent on her non-US citizen/resident husband(my dad of course).

Does a US citizen need to file income tax if she is not in the US and is a dependent wife of a non US citizen? Is anyone familiar with the US tax laws regarding this? Should we get a lawyer?

We need to know what to do and what explanation to give in order to submit this letter of explanation to the US consullate and expedite my brother's petition. Mom is willing to do what is necessary. We'd appreciate any constructive advice.

Thank you so much in advance.

terrorism? If so, what responsibility should the parent countries that support them financially share. China and Russia continue to do buisness with these diseased minded countries such as Iran, Syria, and North Korea whom cause the symptom of terrorism within the body of the world. The disease has spread to all corners of the Earth. Attacking the symptom only brings temporary relief. But attacking the disease eventually cures the symptoms. America has done and in some instances still does buisness with them but to a far less degree than China and Russia. How do we address these issues with ourselves and thse other "parent" nations in an effort to cure the disease?

When a dispatch rider enters a Bank he has to remove his bike lid.
Why then can Muslim women enter without having to remove head coverings?
Anybody could use a simular guise to commit an armed robbery so why take a chance.
Equal rights should apply to everybody.
Who agrees?

Seriously, I don't think they would be attacking anyone if it was one on one. Are they really that much of cowards? Are they THAT scared of hearing an opposing view?
Is anyone else being attacked for their views on here?
