It looks like even marines are looking for a point to the Iraq war...I mean I support our troops completely...but Is it fair that we have to wait for the Iraqi Govt to get thier crap together while our boys get shot at?

al-Qaeda fully supports the slaughtering of innocent Shiite Muslims in Iraq, in order to stir up a civil war. Yet when the conflict between Israel and Lebanon began, al-Qaeda pops up, claiming that they will "Avenge their brothers in Lebanon," who also happen to be Shiite muslims.

I find it surprising that any Muslim would take this group seriously, and I find it difficult to comprehend why some Muslims in Iraq continue to die for such demented causes.

I went to give my 30 day notice to my lanlord and was told I was on a lease for a few more months. I asked to see the lease as I had specifically not signed a lease this year as I expected to not stay for the entire period. The lanlord did not have a signed lease but said he had put a notice on my door some 10 months ago stating that the lease would be automatically extended. I informed him I had never seen this. He is now threatening to take my deposit and hurt my credit if I do not finish out this "lease". Any ideas??

The Democrats, ALL of them I've heard speak, are saying that they will NOT force impeachment proceedings against GW Bush. To me, that makes them TRAITORS too.

I keep hearing illegal immigration in the news, but Bush thinks it shouldn't be enforced. So if you don't enforce something how can it be illegal?

I read the comments here from some obviously academically challenged and uninformed Americans and Brits. They think that the world owes them a living and the recipients of their guile, abuse and violence should just acquiesce to their arrogance and stupidity and just be quiet.

Ok, besides the fact that top tobacco companies give hundreds of millions of dallars to campaign finance, and the government makes over 1 dollar a pack in taxes, why are tobacco products legal?

Home remedies that have proven to be harmful can't be sold as home remedies anymore.

Tobacco products do absolutely no good for anyone, so why are they even legal? They harm the user, period. There is no benefit, nothing good about Tobacco products.

I am not a "truth" person or a big "anti-smoker". I am just looking at it from a logical point of view.

Other than the government making a ton of money from tobacco sales and contributions, what is the benefit of having them legal?

War started by a political party should draft men and women that voted that party into office. Then lets see how many Bush kids want daddy to start a BS war.

I am not denying Israels right to exist I just wanna see what you guys think about what happened in 1948. I personally believe that Britain( the west in general also) is the cause of modern day terrorism because of sykes-picot and the balfour declaration. They really messed around with the Arabs by splitting them into nations and supporting tyran regimes over them. They also pissed them off when they supported Israel to go ahead and build a country over the land of other people. I do not believe in the whole God giving land to someone so please do not use illogical arguments.

Is it still cool to cut-down our elected leader and just leave it at that, offering no alternatives or solutions?

-If you use your energy and register to vote instead of sharing your extream hatered of Bush or the Republican party in useless forums like this one, you could make a diffrence.-

If you don't like the president that's fine. Personally he seems like a "yes man" to me but I still respect his position. Please keep your critisism constructive! It's only funny when John Stewert bashes Bush, and you are no comedian. ;p

Sorry I couldnt let this slide. While I do not think all Muslims are terrorist or murderers by any means i would have to question scripture that tells its followers to kill non believers. For the young lady who said it doesnt maybe you should read the Koran.

Here is an excerpt for you conderning "unbelievers"

"so that Allah should bring about His command; surely Allah has power over all things.
[2.191] And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out"
