Al Gore is not qualified to run. He has proven time and again how inept he is. Right down to the lies he told in his little movie. He is certainly not above telling lies to push his agenda.

I think that Al Gore has seen the writing on the wall after he was elected president the first time. He is doing what he knows that he can accomplish with the support that he has. Like Carter, he is a great humanitarian and cares deeply about our country but won't get back into the filth of American politics again.

It would be impossible for Al Gore to ever get a fair shake from the biased corporate-controlled media. They make far too much money pushing the "Al Gore = BAD" meme.

Yes Al Gore should run-that would insure that a Republican would win. Run Gore, run!

He could give it a go, but he has gone too far to the left to have a chance at winning the Democratic Nomination. If he did win the nomination he would probably do as well as McGovern in 2008.

I guess I would vote for Al, but I am hard pressed to know why he disappeared for so long after the Republicans stole the election in 2000.
Does anybody like Colin Powell?

I do not trust any of them either. Colin Powell may be better.
Is anyone who is not a US citizen answering this question?
If so, why?

I agree - he should run, and now that he has more credibility and recognition on his own without Clinton, I think he could win. He could even get Hillary as his VP.

well, im glad to see a democrat thinking, gore is the best candidate by far. nation wide he has the most support and hes the least far left of any of those, so he could pick up neutral votes.

He would probably be good for America, which is probably why the corporate media will go after him.
Right now with all the mass (by the ton) lies Bush has given us for war, CIA unmaskings, conspiracies, scare mongering etc I think anything would be better. Dont you think?
Oh well..

Gore would be fantastic - smart (for once) and honorable. The only people who don't like him are the head-in-the-sand anti-science folks.
