yes...we realize that al-Qaeda is not a good thing for muslims....but who says all young muslims felt that way in the first place? The thing is, those people in the middle east don't really have much of a choice on who to follow, just whoever is there to help them with food and shelter...they have nothing...look at the iraqi people and afghanistan after america came in "to help"....look at those countries affected by israel...palestine and now lebanon....israels occupation and bombardment of their towns and homes is causing the people to follow Hezbullah and other extremist groups even more....
if we want all world terrorism to end, we must allow the people to live in freedom and govern themselves, and bring justice to the middle east. israel must leave lebanon, and give back stolen land that they have occupied in palestine since 2001...
those muslims have no reason to see america as anything but their enemy, that supplies military aid to israel, which tanks their homes and kills their families without regard for civilian lives...if we want that image to change, we have got to let go of israel, and side with the rest of the United Nations....

The detailed part of your question may very well have a lot of truth about it, But who do non-followers of Islam, like you and I think we are to tell the young muslims who thier idols and defenders ought to be? This is just another case of the arrogance of the West. It is the same arrogance that says we must bring Democracy to them. Who says they want our warped idea of Democracy. If there was real democracy, then Bush and Blair would not be representing the peoples of the USA or Britain. The majority of peoples in both countries did not vote or want these two imbeciles.

Nice to see that another person can spell al-Qaeda correctly!
Christianity's just the same really. The churches are nothing like what Jesus, if he even existed, would have wanted.

There is a lot of hate in this world, and a lot of people use God and Religion as a means to hate and feel justified in doing so.
