Stop buying products you see advertised in the media.
For the media it's just a question of business revenue vs expense and they get their revenue from advertisements.
I know that where I live there are a lot of smaller stores and producers that I buy from that are much more ethical. There's a little added cost but I think it's paid back by a higher standard of living.
Next time you go shopping, buy the product you didn't see advertised.

Dont buy the magazines that promote it and use airbrushing to make all the people look amazing. If we stopped buying the mags they would eventually get the idea and start using more normal pics. U gotta hit people were it hurts most, thats usually the wallet

Ignore them and be happy with yourself as you are.
If you want to improve do it on your own terms not someone elses.
The media is not in charge and will bend whatever way the pubilic wants at any moment.
So just decide not to be one of the sheep.

a long time ago women were considered sexy if they weighed 200lbs now skinny is in back then skinny girls were considered diseased now if u look really hungry ur hot im sure times will change again and people will probably think a girl who is much different is hot but y fight the inevitable right

Dont buy anything, dont wear make up, hang around the most visually displeasing people you can find, shun all newsmedia except for NPR of course, and get into a relationship with an ugly guy or girl.

Dont worry about it. Keep yourself clean and well groomed and forget what Hollywood is doing. I dont wear designer clothes and I still have guys after me even when Im married.

you cant,,it sells products and that is a multi million dollar business,,,if people have a healthy attitude to their looks and wellbeing all the adverts should not matter,,having a boob job to look better is fine,,having one to improve and make better your life is not,it doesnt work if there are self esteme problems.

don't wear make-up. don't use alot of hairspray or gel. don't tan. you know what? just be goth. that would work.
