considering these weapons ARE from the cold war, no, it doesnt really effect much of anything.

We're fighting wars with real guns, and theyre handing out rubber bands and sling shots.

You have to understand that not all of America's enemies are considered bad by the rest of the world. For example Syria is considered bad because it is considered a threat to Israel, not America. Same goes for Saddam, America did not give a rats as s about the Kurds or Sheaa. Iraq was not a threat to America and had no links to 9/11 as two congress reports show.

So America it would seem likes to make many enemies based on who knows what.

Also if Russia does not sell to America's enemies, China and other countries would. FYI, Israel sold high tech weapons and stuff like that to China. So much for being America's ally.

Funny how liberals never mention the submarines, Russia sold to Iran.
Or the possibility of what weapons came with the sub's.

Or the inevitable use by these Iranian extremists.

These are things they ( Libs ) don't want to talk about at parties.
Maybe these things will go away if liberals ignore it long enough......

Bigger picture...maybe its US? Maybe it is the USA under Ronald Regan's leadship that gave or sold Afgan Mujahideen (who will later evolves into the Taliban) Military Technology to fight the Russian. Ironically, those stored caches of weapons, technology and training is now being used against our troops. I miss the Commie Russians, they were a better bad guys in our movies (ie Rocky 4) compared to our today's modern day enemies.
