It's where you draw a direct link between race and terrorism. If you start treating any Asian person as a terrorist just because some terrorists have come from Asia, then that's racist. And also quite forgetful. Let's not forget the IRA were a caucasian terrorist network, ETA are Spanish and that there are a myriad of other organisations with their own agendas, none receiving so high a profile as Islamic extremists.

Whether you limit your hatred only to those people who are actually committing these atrocities, or you blame everyone who happens to have the same skin color or wears the same type of clothes or prays to the same god.
Out of one billion Muslims, let's say 500,000 are terrorists. That's over four times the number of US troops in Iraq right now. But that's still only 0.05 percent of the population.
Compare that to 0.75 percent of the US population (15x as many statistically) in prison right now.

I don't blame your average, not-so-bright man-in-the-street for holding racist views when it comes to Moslems. They have been pre-conditioned, programmed to think and act in a certain way, much like rats in a maze, in constant panic, prone to this paralyzing fear, incapable of free rational thinking, insecure, clinging to their politicians for security, ready to give up their ideals or liberties for security. It is all part of the war effort.

when it is OK for the USA to blow up a building in Iraq
but NOT OK for some (group we are not quite sure of, but think it might have something to do with Iraq or Afghanistan or Arabia or somewhere like that) people to blow up a building in USA ...

if you are against terrorism, you dont care about ethnicity and you dont profile. If you're a racsist and a biggot, then you profile all middle easterners and mexicans.
