I'm sure I'm not the only one who is tired of the raising gas prices. I'm just wondering why the gov. can put a cap on some things (like the price shrimp farmers can charge, and the price farmers charge for corn) but they WON'T put a cap on gas prices! No one needs to make $10 billion profit in one qt. It's rediculous!
I would also like to know what your thoughts are on how to help solve the probelm, what can we do to make it better?

why dont they let ALL immigrants come to their country if its the promise land lol. (im not mexican) they make people suffer to come to their country, they are racist and let blacks live in poor neighborhoods, and the whites live in big houses. and it takes like 2-15 years for an immigrant to come to their country if they are lucky. is USA still a land of freedom? you tell me!!

I hate to know that I waisted 5 of my points asking a question about Wal Mart. I work at a corporation that is soon to be moving our jobs to Mexico. We have been an American company since day one. It was the hard working Americans that gave the company the backbone it needed and the dollars in its pocket. So why are so many countries running from America. If it is the richest country in the world, why leave? How can Americans afford to buy American made products if they have no jobs? Just pissed off thats all, no hate for anyone. Your opinion.

"intellectual morons," smart people who make themselves stupid by letting "ideology do their thinking"; stock or fanatical answers, bad logic and lies are all part of their putative arsenal.

Imagine you came from a far more intelligent alien community for research!

If you were an outsider to the human conflicts...
If you saw the countries bombing eachother...
If you saw the ecological damage...
If you witnessed the boundaries, suspicion and hatred...
If you socialised with people and heard about their views about 'God' and their particular religious views...
If you got to know about nationalism and racism

How would you rate humans?
Would you like what you saw?

This is just an example, I ask you to consider it with wisdom. A large corporation with 1000 employees pays legal citizens $6.00 an hour, they realize that they can save 2 dollars an hour by hiring illegals to replace those legal citizens. Based on a 40 hour work week that is aproximately 1 million dollars a month, 12 million a year. There are companies out there that are benefitting at even larger profits than this example. Will amnesty change that for the better? 20 million people willing to work for 2 dollars less an hour. Who will benefit from amnesty? Will it be illegals? Or, will illegals be indentured servants to big business along with the rest of us???????

Americans have got lazy and china and india are soon to become super powers, why are americans training their citizens just so they can return to their country and try to over throw america? Please this is not a rascist question. I am only concerned with the future of america, everyone wants to be america but everyone also wants to destroy america. Isn't this ironic that they want their country to be a super power just so they can do away with the super power that taught them? Just some input.

My son and I disagree about this. If Hezbullsh** hide/conceal their rockets in populated areas, what are the Israelis to do?? Take them out with beforehand knowledge of civilian casualties, not bomb, or ?????? I am not a sympathizer with either dog in this fight. I try to understand the incredible hatred of the Jews by the Muslims. Frankly, I don't get it. But, the carnage in the middle east must stop---somehow.

MYTH 1: The US was founded on Christian principles.

TRUTH: This is incorrect.

The Constitution never once mentions a deity, because the Founding Fathers wanted to keep their new country "religion-neutral." Our Founding Fathers were an eclectic collection of Atheists, Deists, Christians, Freemasons and Agnostics.

George Washington, the Father of our country, and John Adams (Second President of the USA) CLEARLY stated in the 1796 Treaty of Tripoli: "The Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian Religion.”

G.W. rarely attended church and instead followed a popular 18th century philosophy called Deism—a Star Wars-esque philosophy that believed in a cosmic energy or big-*** universal "Force." The dictionary says that Deism is "a system of thought advocating natural religion based on human reason rather than revelation," that had nothing to do with Christian principles.

James Madison, original mastermind of our Constitution, was an Atheist to the core who loved skewering Christianity. In 1785 he wrote, "What have been [Christianity’s] fruits? More or less in all places, pride and indolence in the Clergy, ignorance and servility in the laity; in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution.”

Thomas Jefferson, who sat down and authored The Declaration of Independence, rarely missed an opportunity to laugh at Christianity. In a letter to John Adams in 1823, he wrote: "The day will come when the mystical generation of Jesus…will be classed with the fable of the generation of Minerva in the brain of Jupiter."

More ammo: In 1814, Tommy J. wrote about the Bible's Old and New Testaments, "The whole history of these books is so defective and doubtful -- evidence that parts have proceeded from an extraordinary man; and that other parts are of the fabric of very inferior minds.”

In fact, it was President Jefferson himself who first wrote (to a Baptist church group in 1802), "The First Amendment has erected a wall of separation between Church and State." Therefore, when Jefferson talked about “Nature’s God,” the “Creator” and “divine Providence ” in the Declaration that he wrote, he was being a hippie and referring to a general cosmic energy-- not the Christian God.

America is not a Christian nation. Period. Our Constitution derived from the post-Christian Enlightenment values of reason and truth...never from the paranoid yammerings of that otherwise compassionate cult leader who ******* died in the Middle Eastern desert 3000 years ago.

MYTH 2. The US doesn’t need improvement compared to other countries; it is the greatest country in the world.
TRUTH: Wrong again. I'll only cite the statistics here.

OECD USA Ranking on Healthcare Quality Index: #37 (#1 France and #2 Italy)-

OECD PISA 2003 USA Ranking of Student Problem Solving Ability: #26 (#1 South Korea and #2 Finland)-

So much for those "socialist" Europeans and those "backward" Asians, hm? We can do better than this.

MYTH 3: The US government loves to help other countries.
TRUTH: This is a myth. The US government tends to be motivated by interests, not humanitarian principles.

Denmark gives the most amount of its GDP (1.01%) to developing countries; Norway gives 0.91%; the Netherlands give 0.79% and so on until the end of list, where the USA sits. Yes, America ranks DEAD LAST in foreign aid at a pathetic 0.1% of its GDP, compared to the other 21 nations listed as developed nations. The idea that the US government is a heroic bunch that runs around the world helping the poor and the disempowered is not backed up by the evidence. We have one of the stingiest governments on earth.

Most Americans believe the US spends 24% of its budget on aid to poor countries; the actual amount is well under a quarter of 1%. Our country also ranks #5 on asylum-seeker acceptance rates (#1 is Denmark and #2 is Canada).

Another interesting fact: Conservative Red states have a divorce rate 27% higher than the liberal Blue states, the per capita rate of violent crime in Red states is 49 per 100,000 higher than in Blue states, the top 5 states with the highest rates of alcohol abuse are Red states, and the per capita rate of gonorrhea in Red states was 41 per 100,000 higher than in the Blue states. Time to unshelf the antibiotics for our "ethical," "God-fearing" conservative friends with their "traditional family values."

"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not
started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September
11,
2001?

Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally
murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from our
nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania?

Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible,
burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated"
when
an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet?
Well, I don't. I don't care at all.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents
for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start
caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime
in
Saudi Arabia.

I'll care when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi tells the world he is sorry for
hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling
slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out
and
fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding
in
mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search
of
nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their
suicide
bombs.

I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First
Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead
of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up
an
Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have
been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazing incident, rest
assured that I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told
not
to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the
bank
that I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat,
and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is
complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can
absolutely
believe in your heart of hearts that I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran"
and
other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and ---- you guessed it -
-
- I don't care ! ! ! ! !
