REPORT - Landed on planet 741776. Have searched and no intelligent life forms. Except for these 4 legged furry creatures that have trained the human life substance to pick up their feces. The sub species has as their leader one of the dumbest creatures I have ever recorded in all the galaxies. They show affection for one another by killing the other species on the planet.
There is a great admiration for the group of them that do all this killing by placing "support our troops" on all their forms of antiquated transportation. They seem to be very gullible also.
SUGGESTION: Permission to destroy this planet as their life forms are not doing anything of value. Although we have found interesting recordings entitled "Girls Gone Wild" which is very popular. Will bring some back for further study.

I wouldn't like what I saw....because as even an alien version of myself, I don't like what I see. In the shortest possible sense of the term, these "people" call themselves "thoughtful" and aren't fond of using their heads in the slightest...and they call themselves "human" when they aren't humane to one another in the slightest either.
So was that Genus/species name of Homo Sapiens just a total joke then, a hissy fit of sarcasm in a language that lies mostly dead on the tongue?
And how would I rate things? I suspect this would depend in part on a) how long I had been observing and b) whether or not I had a Prime Directive of some sort keeping me from "blowing them up" or trying to "take over and colonize".
Assuming that I had been watching over things the better part of a natural local "human" lifetime, the past 40-50 years lets say, and that I was aware somewhat of the local history (enough to get the cultural references)....I'd be appalled at how quickly everything is falling apart. I mean, in the 20th century, into the 21st right up to 9-1-1, things were on the balance very weakly positive, at least socially and politically, albeit at grave cost to both environment and large, less-developed chunks of the planet.
But then....*everything* just sort of imploded as if it were all coordinated somehow. It would make me more than a bit suspicious.
If there was nothing I could do about the situation, I'd bail. I'd get out of Dodge while it was still possible to do so discreetly, without adding further to the rot and ruin.
If I had options though, that were not forbidden by some Prime Directive type of thing...well...
Not to be a smart-aleck, but there is that Jane's Addiction song, "Pets", to consider. Namely, it really does seem that on a one-on-one individual level, most people are fairly good, decent and sentient beings...
It's only when you get them in groups and cultures and societies that things go to crap and generally turn out for the worst.
So maybe that might be the only way to save things.....by saving individuals in isolation, here and there, and basically just plucking people off planet until either things stabilize down below or until we have enough *samples of* each culture and city and language and technology that we can consider the thing *archived* at its last best save point and then go ahead and *let* the rest self-destruct.
Either way, the whole thing sounds like one big pile of suck to us, doesn't it?
So yeah, here's to hoping that other life and civilizations have it at least a bit better than we do so that they don't totally look at us and see *worthless animals* (or food, or slaves, or pets...). Here's hoping that they can see something worthwhile in us that we don't see in ourselves.

I would think that the human race is a bunch of idiots and that we will eventually destroy each other by our violent and destructive behavior without a doubt.
I would think that the human race is foolish to hate other "minor" differences in their skin colors, and from what part of the world they came from (nationalism).
I would "rate" them by simply stating that humans are a species that won't last very long with their destructive behaviors, and would try to do the exact opposite in my alien species or race if my species were to survive.
The ecological damage that I would witness without remorse would be too much for me to watch any further.
No I wouldn't like what I saw,and would take pity on this planet because it is on a course for self destruction of all forms of life.

Iwould imagine that the history of said alien would show him that the two peoples aren't that different, just different in their overall experiences. Societies grow up like people do. People mature through stages and leasons, one thing to remeber when looking at others is to remeber ourselves at different times and be understanding of others, to a certain point. I think I would be hopeful for these people, they might be destructive at times but individually are very caring at times. Just sit back and hope that develope without killing themselfs in the process. Anyone with kids would understand this hope, we hope our children make it and do even better than us.

Depends wherefrom the aliens come from. It is just like that black dot in a white cloth example. What one would see white shirt or the black dot.
It should not turn out to be the other side of the grass is always green.

I would say that most of us are being feed propaganda to make us react to the will of corrupt political rings swimming in the greed and uncontrolled power struggles at our expense, SO NO i do not like what they have made us look like to the rest of the world because they are projecting their views and corrector, not ours most American people are good people, but our leaders are not, and that being said, im american and I'm thinking about giving my citizen ship to them so they can stick it up their ***.
