This is just an example, I ask you to consider it with wisdom. A large corporation with 1000 employees pays legal citizens $6.00 an hour, they realize that they can save 2 dollars an hour by hiring illegals to replace those legal citizens. Based on a 40 hour work week that is aproximately 1 million dollars a month, 12 million a year. There are companies out there that are benefitting at even larger profits than this example. Will amnesty change that for the better? 20 million people willing to work for 2 dollars less an hour. Who will benefit from amnesty? Will it be illegals? Or, will illegals be indentured servants to big business along with the rest of us???????

No, this benefits individuals more than big companies.
A CEO will never hire illegals in his prized company but at home they work on his house, babysit the kids and clean the floors.

It sure is "big business" for big business. In this three ring circus, supposedly evryone get what they want, The illegals get the "dream" (A better life) Corporations get a better bottom line by getting the cheap labor, they could care less what they are doing to this wonderful nation as long as the stockholders are happy.
Greedy politicians get the "Latino", or "Hispanic" vote, these people are running a registration campaign as we speak to register 1 million voters nationwide, and they arent even doing background checks on the people to find out if they are American citizens or not registering,& so far its apparantly legal to do this.
And what may you ask do you & I get out of this "deal" Well thats the great part of the plan, The American taxpaying public gets to fund and support all of this with their hard earned tax dollars. Even when it goes bad WE THE PEOPLE pay for the system which is in place to deal with this problem of illegal immigration.
Congress voted for a pay increase for its members, yet they voted down an increase in the minimum wage for legal workers, who do you think that they care about?
Savage, JD, You guys take care, & keep your powder dry.
MIKI M, Sympathy can be found in the dictionary between sh it & shynola, have a great day I am going to.

Personally I think it's way bigger than that. And the longer there is no amnesty the bigger and more profitable it will get.
It begins way before the big business though. Coyotes wait in border towns for their chickens(illegals). The more difficult it is to cross the border, the more they get paid. (The more walls and fences and guards we put in the way the richer everyone gets). The coyotes then pay the drug lords in the crossing area and the locals who lend a hand at the walls/fences. Then the pick up guys in the US get paid for completing the journey. Of course there is also the occasional ransom thing that happens, too. By that time the illegal has been through so much they really don't care what they are paid as long as they don't have to go back and go through all of that mess again.
It is a downright nasty, inhumane situation.

Wealthy farmers and landowners
have always considered slavery as a birthright.
Since the Civil War, it has been denied to them,
But they got it back
with the WTO GATS - FTAA -
NAFTA - CAFTA -agreements.
Mexico Has Agreed
To Export Her Poverty Into The USA
And The Citizens Of The USA
Are Being FORCED Into Accepting That Poverty
And therein lies the strategy
for addressing the question of illegal aliens,
the so-called ‘guest worker’ programs,
the sale of American citizenship for profit
and the destruction of the lives of American citizens
who are being crushed
financially,
emotionally
and spiritually
by the WTO trade agreements
SURRENDER??? I Dont THINK So
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil
is for good men to do nothing."
Edmund Burke
We have to start calling it what it is -
Slave Trade
and we need to dig out our blue uniforms
and fight the war against the Slavers once again.

I think you answered your own question ... amnesty will not benefit illegals in the long run ... it will not benefit the American people ... it will not benefit the corporations as much as illegal immigrants will ... by virtue of being legalized, employers will have to start playing and paying by the book ... what big business wants is cheap, docile, replaceable labor with no cumbersome rights ... if they could, they'd bring back slavery ... Greed Rules ......

What approximately unlawful is it so hard to comprehend? there isn't any such ingredient as an "unlawful immigrant" through fact immigrants come right here LEGALLY. unlawful extraterrestrial beings are criminals through fact they are breaking our regulations, sponging off the taxpayer, stressful rights they don't have, hurting our college because instructors would desire to spend greater time with the non-English speaking little ones, wreck our ERs because they are able to't take care of to pay for to stay open to any extent further, etc.... Now became something I suggested "racists?" No! each and every actuality I point out had to do with the unlawful ALIEN criminal. i do no longer care in the event that they are white, brown, black, or purple. in the event that they are unlawful they might desire to no longer be right here. To "at a loss for words" -- you're at a loss for words. You suggested that that's hard to no longer have sympathy for the illegals. Sorry, I have not have been given any sympathy for somebody that breaks our regulations. they might desire to be deported and/or jailed. Employers who hire those criminals would desire to be jailed. Sorry, no sympathy right here! and that's no longer a racist remark!!!

What you say has merit. And food for thought. Good question.
I don't see a benefit to the American people. We can't help everyone who wants a better life. As nice as that sounds-it is impossible. And it is unreasonable that people think we should at all costs. We owe the people here something too. And they should be our first concern.
