Its easy to see that the ones who dont like illegal immigrants simply DO NOT LIKE IMMIGRANTS. So why bother? There are other countries who need your services so long as you register well and pay your taxes for medical insurance coverage etc.
Sure the dollar is good and buys stuff, thing is we spend the rest of our lives using our health for money and a longer part using our money for our health as we grow older.

other issues going on and I think they are trying to distract us.

Israel is a big boy... they are going to do what they are going to do.

We have troops dieing, uninsured citizens dieing because they can't afford a doctor or medicine, elderly choosing to buy medicine instead of groceries, gay prices out the whazoo, industries dieing due to outsourcing and the global market, big brother watching our bank accounts.. listening to our telephone conversations, New Orleans still looks like hurricane Katrina hit last week, etc..

We are losing our entire way of life. Isn't that what we are told that our troops are fighting for but what are we doing? We are talking about Israel.

Come on!!!!! Let's get focused here!!

In many countries in the world, being a member of the military is legally incompatible with running for public office, without first having retired from the military for a period of time (6 months to a year prior is roughly the period I've seen most). You often find this kind of regulation in states that have previously experienced military dictatorships.

I'm asking about this topic generally, not just in the case of the US. Your opinions? Please give a good, well-reasoned argument to support your opinion (that is, stupid answers benefit no one--so let's keep it civil and intelligent, folks).

world war 1 all the way through to the current war. America loves war. Of all those wars how many were actually to preserve or save the freedom of America?

Is Sport hysteria encouraged by governments to take the general public's mind off the terrible wars and injustices perpertrated by callous and greedy governments? (George Orwell predicted this in 1984)

That when you live in a country which two biggest problems are:

- which country are we gonna attack next?
- how many immigrants can we kick out?

Do you realise what an extremely rich, blessed and beautifully lucky life you actually have?

Do you also realise how arrogant it sounds to the rest of the world to make immigration almost the most important issue in your politics?

Do you also realise how you lose more and more goodwill in the eyes of the rest of the world ?

"TB's swift, deadly return now is lethal for about 60 percent of those infected because of new Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis. Until recently MDR-TB was endemic to Mexico. This Mycobacterium tuberculosis is resistant to at least two major anti-tubercular drugs.... Latent disease explodes later....

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ascribed 42 percent of all new TB cases to 'foreign born' people who have up to eight times higher incidences apparently, 66 percent of all TB cases coming to America originate in Mexico, the Philippines and Vietnam."

Other health threats from illegals include, according to the report:

Chagas disease, also called American trypanosomiasis or "kissing bug disease," is transmitted by the reduviid bug, which prefers to bite the lips and face.... The disease also infiltrates America's blood supply... No cure exists....
Leprosy, also known as Hansen's disease...

If no, is it everything OK with American democracy? Or uniformity of opinions means something different in this big country?

Such protests happened a number of countries, including Israel itself. I do not know, how many of you had information about them.

I would like to become an ambassador (and if for some reason that's not really within my reach, I would like to work for an embassy or consulate). I just need to know what the process is to get there.

Many of us have quit traveling, going shopping weekly, and call others rather than visiting frequently. These things are done to stop using so much gas. We need to show that we are not going to spend all of our hard earned money on gas. Those rich who are raising prices are laughing at us because we are paying for gas. What are you doing to conserve on oil?
