There is no 'number'. Was it a good cause to defeat Japan in WWII?... Germany? how many millions died in that war?

A better question is how many innocent people must be killed by an evil cause before the world does something about it?

Why does the world ignore casualities in Israel until Israel finally strikes back? What about the Sudan? Darfur? How many untold places are suffering many, many more innocent deaths, that we just completely ignore.

You simply cannot go screaming about Israel, if you have not said a word about all these other areas without being a complete hypocrite.

No innocent person can be killed for a "good" cause because then the reason we killed the innocent person would have become bad.

Its kinda like what I saw on TV where some stupid kid got attacked by an aligator and suffered minor injuries.. so the hunters went out and killed a few aligators hoping they would catch the ONE gator by the process of elimination. The news didn't say anything bad about it but that's what I thought of right away.. like.... what did the other aligators do?

It would be like the police showing up knowing someone that looks like you shot someone in the leg but instead of just taking you and your family in for questioning... they just kill you on site with no investigation whatsoever.

Is there no justice for reptiles?

Once innocent people are killed, or injured the "good cause" becomes merely a "cause" and anyone who continues to call it "good" is just making up excuses.

The killing of innocents is never a good cause. It is however, one of the misfortunes of war. We need to simply stop the war-ing!
