one of my relative aply for student Visa last 10.02.06 and Austrian Visa authority (MA-20) aprove visa on 26.05.06 & send to New delhi Austrian Embassy on the same day by internet but still embassy did not inform the student about the Visa.

What do you mean by "respond properly?" Do you mean that they are too busy dealing with customers to be able to answer the phone, or do you mean that they told you something you didn't want to hear?

The Austrian embassy stinks - I have experienced them for my parents visa in New Delhi embassy and for my own visa in Abu Dhabi. They are lazy, take too long to process an app, arrogant and non responsive. My parents have blown up a small fortune in ticket cancellations, travel insurance, hotel cancellations after being denied the Austrian visa for "financial reasons" while the truth is they travel every year abroad. ADVICE : Travel to Switzerland only - the people are great and the entire country is geared towards tourists....

if you know the quality of pople in delhi then you will excuse the embassy staff.

It's almost the same in all embassies.It's hard to reach them.
