Labour Laws in India are similar to those in England.Since India was ruled by Britain they have passed all British Laws in India also. There is not much difference,Payment of Minimum Wages act.Employees Provident Fund Act,Payment Gratuity Act,Workmen Compensation Act etc are some examples. But the compliance is poor.Labour Courts and Tribunals are inefficient and corrupt.Legal Remedy in courts are long drawn process and even after the employee is dead the case might have not been decided!
